My best guess is that it will take institutional investors 2–3 months to triage their current portfolio issues. Another 3–6 months to research new opportunities like distressed debt, special situations, crypto, etc. Then, as they begin making allocations, those markets will really begin to rise.

UK Chancellor just said self employed people will get up to 80% of their earnings but we have to wait until June.
It’ll be a 3 month pay out back dated to now so 3 x 80% what you earn.

It’s a good thing I have a couple of streams of income.

What would, for example a self employed electrician do who isn’t getting any jobs now. ‘Don’t worry, we’ll pay you in June’.

All this whilst teachers are off work until September on 80-100% pay. Farcical by the UK Government.

Well, those who refuse to chop wood for the winter are going to freeze. It sucks for the individual, but it is fair. You get what you fucking deserve, and whoever survives this mess will make better choices than people do now.
