Boris Johnson has coronavirus: PM tests positive for disease as crisis grips the UK

Boris Johnson has been confirmed as suffering from coronavirus, it was revealed today. 

The Prime Minister is understood to have tested positive for the disease, as the outbreak spreads across the country.

Mr Johnson is thought to have relatively mild symptoms, but the bombshell news underlines fears that the crisis is escalating. 

A Downing Street spokesman said: 'After experiencing mild symptoms yesterday, the Prime Minister was tested for coronavirus on the personal advice of England's Chief Medical Officer, Professor Chris Whitty.

'The test was carried out in No 10 by NHS staff and the result of the test was positive.

A report from Madrid where they commandeered an ice-rink (currently not used). Do they simply stack the bodies, literally "on ice",until they can catch up with funerals, cremations, autopsies, etc? Thought that was highly creative, if a little morbid.

It's hidroxycloroquine what they are using. It's less toxic than cloroquine... but still has a good amount of side effects. It's safer to just try to not get exposed to the virus.
