Looks like the sale is over! Congrats to those who managed to grab some last under $40k coins!  Cool

Bought £350 worth (0.0125BTC) at the time. Coinbase was playing up though man, kept freezing. Wasn’t a big buy but I would have got more corn if it didn’t keep lagging.

I tried to buy when it was $35,500. Only went through when it was like $37,7xx though  Roll Eyes

That's why i like brokers. The prices are a tad higer, but they are set on intervals (90 secs in my case), so i can check out the moment the price hits the 1m bottom. Enough time to evaluate manual buys. Missed the low by about $200. This is fine, though.

I can't disclose because of opsec reasons, sorry.
Anyway, you would have to be of the same nationality to be able to use it (which is unlikely).

True observers, how many "martians" can you spot in this pic?

EDIT: But this was the one i was trying to find (finally got lucky after posting the 1st one).
It's a very quiet place, on a small hill in the middle of a wood. I found it on google maps originally and decided to check it out on a hike.
There also were horses. I had to wait quite a time until they had moved their hairy asses out of the viewport.

if a kid on a "moving platform" and a walking person qualify (since the whole scene looks "martian" or rather "frozen"), then 4 and if not, than just 2 (resembling martian tripods).
Maybe i missed more. A cool pic, as always.

No worries, understand your concern.  I can research on my own but, was looking for a lazy answer  Grin

Close, very close, Mr. Watson.
I blame it on the low resolution due to display limits of the forum.
The "moving platform" is a bench like the one in the foreground, but it's missing the backrest.

EDIT: Two persons on the bench, the kid and adult, the moving person, another woman a little farther back on the same alley, with a (hard to recognize) running kid on her left side.
Totals 5. However, either you don't need glasses (yet) or you already got a good pair of em  Tongue  Grin

Looks like we're on the way back to 40k after that flash crash. Props to those who bought around 34.5k. I didn't quite pull the trigger as I was hoping for the price to go down even further.

Wonder how long it will be till we see one of these dips again.

I guess a more appropriate question would be: who bought at the bottom? We're in a bull market after all..  Cool

A plausible scenario? Check both values and timing.

https://dailyhodl.com/2021/01/09/macro-guru-raoul-pal-says-coinbase-ipo-will-suck-institutional-liquidity-from-bitcoin/

roughly ~100K local peak in Feb or so, back to about 40-45K in the summer, up above 200K in the late fall.

BAKKT is being SPACed as well at $2bil (not that much).
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-01-08/crypto-exchange-bakkt-said-near-merger-with-victory-park-spac

Honestly, I am surprised that Coinbase wants to IPO instead of choosing the SPAC move.
They could have gotten some cash (a bil or more) without much dilution.

I think coinbase IPO will be less interesting for people/institutions that want to actually own bitcoin, or invest in it with bigger timeframes in mind.
This way, they (CB) mainly just maximise profits, at an amount of risk that even bitcoin doesn't inherently carry.
When bitcoin goes down, coinbase is history.

You guys dont worry mainstream and anybody else with influence is talking such positive about Bitcoin? At the end that's the people who want to see bitcoin die... They prepare their world slaverly digital currency in the near future...

At least Trump supporters and woken up people know that fakestream media is the number one enemy of normal people.

Ok the dump we were all waiting for... Sub 30k coming?

I want it at all cost. My wish is to enter with more in the $28k-$30k range (but FOMO will probably kick in me on the $32k range). Cashed out some at $40.7k  Cool

I'm buying at the 'dip' (or did today) just BTC Dust (about $190.65) but hey...I'm in this "LONG TERM"  yet, (I'm not that frigging old yet) so 5-10 years.

Also easy, not to take some $$$ and run with Pandemic and everything, in that I'm probably stuck till I get the 2nd shot (hopefully) till about say May 2021

or so at the current rate of vaccinations...so 'no temptation' at the present time to go 'dubious girlfriend experience' shopping. Smiley

(Boredom got me into BTC mining and boredom allowed me to HODL BTC down to $3,200 since 2013, till now....so hey, Boredom: Go With What Works! (tm BTC) HODL.

(Disclaimer: Above can change at a moments notice if/when the above feels that he can use BTC to USD to snap above cycle....so one 'mental breakdown'

away from running off with a pole dancer with 4 kids who says she loves me for my tech skills. Let's be real here, I'll dump you all in WO in a heartbeat for the proper

woman with 'somewhat' dubious morals.)

ahem....moving on to the 'supposed' reason I'm Hodl'ing above...(...gasp..they have seen through my 'real' reason) grrrrrr....boring.... Sad

Motives: Never Trust What People Say on WO! (tm Bitmain WO Thread)

Well, that's the exact opposite of what he is saying, but it remains to be seen.
His point is that for fiat holders it is easier to invest in a company vs bitcoin itself. MSTR is just a very small vessel in market cap, but Coinbase would be a bigger one.
Think of this a a flow of funds. If some funds flow would be converted/re-directed to CB in lieu of bitcoin, bitcoin price might temporarily stagnate or even decline somewhat.
That's the gist of his argument, but he could be wrong, of course.
