Hahahahahaha

Those results might be even worse than the dog catching the bus.

Fun fact.... When programming on CNC, the best datum point is usually in the middle.

Aren't the "crypto" ads dwarfing bitcoin ads?

Or does bitcoin benefit from the promotion of shitcoins, and then ultimately leading a decently increasing number of normies to have better appreciation(s) of the power of bitcoin?

We need a major, well produced, Superbowl bitcoin commercial.
Surely some whale could spend a few coins and take care of that, eh?
Just for shits and giggles of course...

I doubt that "we" really "need" such a thing, yet it remains an ongoingly interesting question sirazimuth regarding the built-in incentives of bitcoin versus various shitcoins, scams, less than genuine projects or other ways of framing the various inferior uses of "crypto".

For sure, maybe someone like Michael Saylor might be incentivized to place such an advert - though it seems that he likely would not find it to be a useful employment of his resources, and maybe if there were some kind of pooling of resources, there could be some of the top BTC whales willing to contribute to such a BTC advertising pool.. perhaps? perhaps?.. ..

Maybe an advert from the top 10 BTC holders - though not easy to imagine such a group getting together to create and pay for such a bitcoin advert and considering such an advert to be a good use of their resources.,. surely, not out of the question though.. and in that regard, I would not necessarily be surprised to see a bitcoin maximalist kind of advert coming out.. just for shits and giggles from a (or more than one?) BIG BTC player.

Poland wants to ban bitcoin, and wants the EU to do the same.
I only have a Swedish newspaper article, but I'm sure your google fu is good enough.

Does this FUD crap even matter anymore?

Russia said they were going to ban bitcoin, only to turn around 180 and move forward to make it a recognized currency. Wtf?

The news is all bullshit. All these countries are secretly buying and embracing it, regardless of what they "say" in the MSM.

The dominoes are falling behind the curtain.

We've been in a coordinated, global Bitcoin smear campaign for over a decade now.

The next phase they will move into, is how to get Joe Public to part with their precious bitcoin. Through merchant adoption.

"Savings and investment wealth for me, but not for thee, my debt slave." -TPTB

I keep going back and forth on what I assume the US is going to do.  Real wildcard out there right now, I think.

I've also heard there's  some sort of sport involved they call football? But its not football at all. They mostly use their hands.

Don't worry, there's only about 11 minutes of that nonsense.

This explains how you can possibly play until you are 44 (or 45?).
Virtually impossible in high running output games like proper football (soccer).
Rarely anyone plays after 40 in non-goalkeeper positions (Ryan Giggs played until 42, but less games a year in the final two years).

It pisses me off that this fucking shitty company has ended up with this much power over the narrative. You have to excuse me, but I am just a little drunk.  Brian Armstrong has optimized for one thing, and that is to make himself money.  Good for him.  There is nothing wrong with that on it's face.

BUT.

He did this in a way that has significantly delays Bitcoin's path to inevitability by supporting an endless amount of imposter projects, and he has chosen to act like these all have some "possible significance", when they, in fact, do not.

Thing is... someone at his organization, most likely him, understands that these projects are flawed at their core, but that immense amounts of money can be made shilling these blockchains without regard to their actual value.

So he has chosen his path.  And by doing so, because of his position, he has delayed the path of the primary project that matters.

It is hard for me to imagine a world in which  someone can achieve the level he has without understanding that they had sold their soul.

I guess that is just how it is.  One part of the price of a perfectly free market is the reality that it can be abused before people have become aware of it's dynamics.

While bitcoin is emerging at the absolute metric by which finance is measured, there are opportunities to take money from id idiots while the pickings are good.  And he has done exactly that by delaying the good future that is Bitcoin.  I think there is still time for him to finally come around to the light side...  But the clock is running out.

Brian, you will be rich, but in hell.  You will never need money.  Come over to the side that makes sense.

Ugh, the cameraman's curse - finally get the perfect shot and some dweeb has to wander into frame seems to apply doubly for video. Been waiting three hours for a part to print so I could make a quick video using it and as soon as it comes off the printer, family starts well, not being noisy around my recording area but acting in a way you know it's just gonna happen...
