Buddy, chill.
Honestly this ad is the worst ad I've ever seen , I don't know how much money Coinbase had to spend to design and make the ad run, but indeed the implementation of ads using barcodes can provide quick and easy access to the Coinbase platform, but isn't it coinbase need something more creative to grab the attention of the audience than a floating barcode? It grabbed more attention than most ads. Everyone is trying too hard to justify the cost so they end up cramming all sorts of stuff into their SB ads that makes no sense. There were at least 3 "crypto" related ads (Coinbase, crypto.com, FTX) and the latter two don't pass the watercooler test, i.e. no one I know is talking about them but everyone noticed the jumping QR code. Coinbase being a shitty exchange notwithstanding LOL

Happy valentines everyone! And remember: fuck first! Do that first, not after a romantic dinner where you eat and drink too much! Just closed a long in order to afford a piece of art that I wanted, without having to further reduce my stash. Bit of a gamble but it worked out. https://www.lakenhal.nl/en/story/future-fossils

Coinbase are a joke, I refuse to use them ever again after receiving an email from them informing me that they are now passing information on accounts to our tax officers that have traded & held a certain amount of bitcoin during a certain timeframe. I know they have to do it now to satisfy the man but it’s so anti bitcoin & the whole reason why I got into bitcoin. I will never use Coinbase again. Any way, let’s hope for a bullish week, if not though & Russia start playing games, I have stink bids in on an exchange that isn’t Coinbase I got the same letter but was expecting it tbh I understand that it is somewhat problematic to be seeing the extent that Coinbase may well be cooperating too much with the US Govt in order to potentially curry favors, and surely their involvement in the various coin analytics matters has been problematic in that direction. On the other hand, it seems to me that the way that cAPSLOCK had outlined the matter in this post gets more to the crux of concern - in regards to both the extent to which Coinbase has gotten involved in the promotion of various shitcoins and also the extent to which Coinbase has been seemingly denigrating (or undermining) bitcoin along the way, largely out of profit motivations. cAPSLOCK did point out that profit motivations are not necessarily bad in themselves, so we should not really get upset at the mere desires to seek profits, and I suppose that many of the concerns do revolve around how low Coinbase/Armstrong will go in terms of getting involved in shitcoins and kinds of deceptive practices to pump various shitcoins that do not really seem to have any chances - beyond just serving as money-making mechanisms that seem to take advantage of the various gullibilities of laypersons... .so the crux of the problem seems to be that Coinbase continues to go way too far in their ongoing taking advantage of various gullibilities of laypersons and takes the road to profits over integrity.. and exacerbates problems to seem to play on dumbness and to purposefully expand dumbness through their ongoing policies and practices.

Bitcoin Monthly Return (%)March seems to be the worst year overall When I look at the chart, it looks to me that September and August are the worst months overall respectively... and even though March has quite a few negatives contained therein, the overall total for March is not really worst of the worst in terms of months. By the way, maybe I should not even be playing around with this nonsense - because it is likely that bitcoin needs to be considered in terms of context rather than getting too much caught up within various traditional parameters that may or may not play large roles within bitcoin price dynamics. In other words, if we even attempt to consider both the newness of bitcoin and also its paradigm changing attributes, I doubt that bitcoin is even close to mature enough to really get caught up within monthly patterns that are even close to being reliable - even though for sure, even yours truly does appreciate to look at the various monthly performances plotted out on a monthly price/percentage overview chart.

I hate visiting the internet on Valentine's day, but when I laugh on these memes I feel even worse. [...] Okay, due to the unbelievably many predictions of this thread, this came to my mind: Gathering all the predictions in one place and start calculating who are the best WO predictors. How does that sound?

[...] Okay, due to the unbelievably many predictions of this thread, this came to my mind: Gathering all the predictions in one place and start calculating who are the best WO predictors. How does that sound? I question the value of what appears to be the underlying premise of your question, to the extent that it is even possible to successfully predict the BTC price direction in any kind of meaningful way, and then what value would come from being able to act upon such information to the extent that such information were to be knowable with any level of certainty (beyond 50/50) in advance. It seems to me that the more valuable consideration in regards to bitcoin and/or personal bitcoin portfolio management would be how well any one of us has been able to custom tailor his/her personal preparations and bitcoin portfolio management to his/her own circumstances in such a way in order to be adequately and sufficiently prepared for any BTC price direction - which includes but is not limited to preparing for UP.. which seems to be an area that has been historically lacking amongst a vast majority of the peeps of the world (but maybe not so much lacking amongst peeps who are relatively active in this thread). Another question/concern would be how to consider BTC price direction preparations which involve both financial and psychological preparations, so in that regard, there can be some value towards having ideas regarding which way the BTC price might go and for how long the BTC price might stay within some kind of price range.. again, I would consider that knowing such information (to the extent possible within some ranges of probability) could be helpful within financial and psychological preparations, but dangerous when getting too unrealistic in terms of assigning probabilities, even if there might be some track record towards having clues about likely BTC price performance dynamics and directions.
