I've spent far more than that trying to re-balance my channels. I can understand your frustration. It's fun though, I just need to figure out how to handle re-balancing and setting channel fees a little bit better first. Seems like I have gotten myself a new hobby.
I gave up using LOOP (too expensive) and circular rebalance (too unreliable), and have found that setting default or low fees works as a good "organic" way of tempting transactions to route your way. Once you see activity, and liquidity starting to empty out your way, start cranking your rates. My strategy of setting stupid low fee's to regain drained liquidity back to my end is proving problematic with popular sites like ln.nicehash - Can't seem to get it more than ~250,000 sats stabilized on my end before 10k sat transactions start wiping it out again back towards empty. Oh well. Back to rolling this boulder uphill... I mean, look at these fucking fees holy cow EDIT: Rebooted after adjusting the following in my lnd.conf minchansize=5000000 bitcoin.basefee=1000 bitcoin.feerate=100 bitcoin.timelockdelta=18Gained another two "vampire" channels that connected at the "1000/1" defaults overnight, and threw some delicately balanced shit out of whack... Goddamnit.

I can spend hours and hours adjusting and micro managing it… I am starting to close smaller older channels that have been inactive, even with fees set to a ridiculous amount of 1000/1 nothing moved!… I guess that nodes connects were not that active or well connected… I find LOOP to be annoying, closes channels randomly… gave up in them last month!… Aren’t you glad I dragged back down this rabbit hole!

Buffet just loves profit, and so does Pomp - and they don't choose how to make that profit. The fact that Buffett has invested some money in a bank that has certain products that allow its customers to invest in cryptocurrencies does not mean that he has changed his mind about Bitcoin. Buffett has always been against investing in gold, but he bought a stake in a company that mines it - does that mean he has changed his mind about gold? I believe that the same story will be repeated, only this time it will not be gold but crypto. Buffett-led Berkshire Hathaway has sold $317 million worth of shares of Canadian miner Barrick Gold Corporation barely after a couple of quarters of buying them. The decision to sell the shares was as surprising as the decision to buy them.
Buffett has not shied away from ridiculing those who invest in gold, which he believes is a non-productive asset. So, his decision to buy shares of a gold miner, though not exactly similar to buying gold, made headlines in August last year, when Berkshire made the holding public.

Man, what's ur problem? EU countries are dumping/discontinuing vaccination certificates for good. Other countries most likely to follow. Ur ridiculous theory of neverending vaccine boosters and concentration camps for the unvaccinated is crumbling into bits and pieces. We are going back to normal. Enjoy life! We've won the battle with the virus. Smile and have a good time! Life goes on so stop this antivaxx bs! For sure, I don't completely buy Marcus's rendition of events.. but he is coming off as quite a bit less crazy now as compared to two years ago when he was saying similar things in early 2020. Various government reactions have been draconian as fuck in regards to both their response to the virus, and also their seeming to have exaggerated and lied about a lot of things related to the virus and the supposed effectiveness of various vaccines and other treatments that have been (and continue to be) rammed down various throats... about a year into the vaccines, it was already seeming to show various contradictions in the messages.... Are governments really going to stop with the various mandates.. ? I hope so. Are we going back to normal or something that was closer to what we had prior to March 2020? I hope so. We all know that a lot of travel rights were removed after September 2001 in accordance with various false pretenses (at least we should be able to recognize that a lot of those various controls that went into place after September 2001 were overblown and never really rolled back in any kind of meaningful way). Do you really believe that various govts around the world are going to be giving back various freedoms to people.. travel, assembly movement, once they have been able to take them away and cause people to be scared of other people..? That would be nice, but seems that governments tend to be quite disinclined to give back freedoms after they have been successful in taking them away.. .. and for sure I am not any kind of anti-govt person.. but there are some sickening aspects to some of these expectations of compliance matters and the shutting down of speech and the intensities of some of the deplatforming and deplatforming attempts. Seems to me that peeps are less inclined to even want to talk to other people in the real world... Govts love those kinds of dynamics of causing fear and internal fighting amongst the plebs while they continue to reel from fear regarding abilities to keep financial systems from crashing...? freedom from the powers of bitcoin too.,. do you believe that these various other battles in social systems are not related to desires to control the finances of normies too? yeah.. maybe you have some personal issues with marcus.. and maybe he can be a bit less confrontational in his various presentations of matters... but there seems to be quite a bit of truth in several matters that he is pointing out, even if he is not getting all of the details correct.. or reaching some extreme conclusions... Since this all started we have learned anti vaxing was less crazy then it was at first. We also learned that anti virals work and were suppressed for more than a year. Hawaii and Vermont are more gay than most states Hawaii and Vermont have more people taking anti virals than most states Hawaii and Vermont have great death rates for covid the best of all 50 states Tell me the last time you heard this on any media of any kind. These facts are really good info to show that aids anti virals are very good at stopping the disease and also preventing death why are they not talked about? My info source is for death rates is here: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

... vaccine mandates are front and square for the discussion here and always have been, not even a little tangential, with losses of freedoms and bitcoin as a solution, sorry if you don't get it but I don't have time to explain it all here ... the plan is to maintain vaccine mandates, QR code digital identity aka "health passports", on the law books as they are making the covid shots required annually, even though they are dangerous and don't do anything better than natural immunity in Omicron era ... anybody protesting vax mandates will have bank accounts frozen at will by an army of keyboard gestapo in "national security command central" (really just some dweebs with laptops set up in basement somewhere), no court process, no money, no job ... but it's your "choice" ... they may just give your account a 10% haircut if you don't get vaxxed and say be happy you have anything you dirty unvaxxed, hateful human scum ... next phase is about financial repression to ramp up fear again before vax mandates get rolled back ... Canada leads the way, cyberattacks (or bank runs), same difference are coming it looks like, Ukraine cyberattacks started yesterday after the "war"/"invasion in this week" was another lie Canadian banking outages https://twitter.com/jamesmelville/status/1494092820260532227What the hell is happening to Canada’s banks right now? Ukraine bank cyberattacks https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukraine-reports-cyber-attack-defence-ministry-website-banks-tass-2022-02-15/...just like coranavirus pandemic they war game for it in the open so you can't say you weren't warned https://www.reuters.com/markets/europe/exclusive-imf-10-countries-simulate-cyber-attack-global-financial-system-2021-12-09/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4OtkPvKfsU ... but with the idiots in charge at least you'll get some laughs when their beautiful plans collapse in a heap Canada bans bitcoin donations to truckers freedom party ? :-D = China 2.0

https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2022/02/16/canada-sanctions-34-crypto-wallets-tied-to-trucker-freedom-convoy/The Ontario Provincial Police and Royal Canadian Mounted Police ordered all regulated financial firms to cease facilitating any transactions from 34 crypto wallets tied to funding trucker-led protests in the country. Lawl. We all know cops are clueless but this really takes the cake. "Crypto wallets"? Do they mean Bitcoin addresses? Haven't they heard of mixing and transferring? Do they really expect every street corner OTC exchange to use forensic blockchain tools to trace the history of every coin they receive to make sure it didn't pass through one of those sanctioned "wallets" at some time?

We've won the battle with the virus. Smile and have a good time! Life goes on so stop this antivaxx bs! It must be nice living in some kind of la la land where you believe things have returned "back to normal". They haven't, not even close. A "return to normal", aka life and freedoms before the plandemic hit, would be the following: 1. All vaccine mandates and certs removed, in every country, border, city, town, govt, corporation, store, grocery, restaurant, movie theater, sporting event, theme park, etc. where they were imposed. 2. Mask mandates dropped, everywhere, and in every country. Especially in schools, retail and grocery stores, movie theaters, restaurants, bars, sports, theme parks, etc. And for any kind of public national and international transport (airplanes, trains, buses, etc.) 3. No more "closing bars, restaurants, or nightclubs early" curfew bullshit. 4. A complete rescinding of covid lockdowns and temporary quarantines now, and forever in the future. 5. Stop involuntary covid testing, everywhere. 6. People allowed to return to work places and jobs that they lost because they got fired or let go for not getting a vaccine. 7. No more MSM fear mongering and bullying about covid variants or one's vaccine status. Anything less is definitely not "going back to normal". And we all do want that, for sure. After 2 long years, who isn't tired of this shit? Blame the politicians and the CDC for dragging this out. The average person on the street is already over it all.
