Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

No worries my WO friends, this market selloff is just about done. FB down to mid-2020 levels. Other FAANGs down to mid 2021 levels. TPTB won't let that kind of a pullback stand, they've been buying the shit out of this dip.
Also, anyone thinking this Ukraine War is going to be over in 6 months really needs to get their head checked.
They have been planning this event for over a year, maybe several years. This is an MSM wet dream. This shitstorm will go on for years, longer than the Covid plandemic bullshit, and the MSM will milk this war for everything they can get out of it. You will be absolutely exhausted hearing about it, if you aren't already.

(note: This is going to be a long one. And politically charged, and all that. This is why I said that Bob and I needed a beer, but if it's going to be brought up again and again here on the forum then why not: Post the whole thing even though it's totally OT) First, there is no question that Nuclear war is Bad. And that simulation is probably fairly accurate assuming everything works. It represents a full scale exchange of everything you got. In other words, life as usual in the 80's. Based on the Russian performance in the Ukraine so far, the breakdowns and issues caused by poor maintenance and what appears to be pretty rampant corruption I'm not too sure that the Russian nuclear arsenal is in very good shape at this time. Maintaining that stuff has cost the US a lot of money over the past 30 years, and I don't see indications that the Russians have taken very good care of their stuff. Their rocket tech still works, but they have had massive infusions of US capital to keep that stuff going (ISS launches, etc). So here is the dilemma: Now that official Russian policy is to use nukes as threats do you wait for them to fix all this stuff? Do you continue to support a regime that is literally saying "We have nukes and we will use them?" Do you send them money, technology, and assistance so they can focus on fixing their threat and making it more lethal? I believe That is not a good idea. Thus the sanctions, etc. And in an extreme case that is why you destroy those weapons and ideas NOW instead of waiting till later. Don't get me wrong: I totally agree: A nuke war would be a mess, and a full scale one would be the end of the world as we know it. That's why it baffles me as to why this dingbat (Putin) would be threatening nukes. You don't cooperate with people like this, you don't appease them, and you certainly don't give them support so they can later cut your throat. Styx points out this is what happened after WW1 and only lead to an even bigger problem with the rise of nationalism, then Hitler and Nazism.
Hmmm. Maybe this was part of Putin's plan? I think so. Promoting fake nationalism, racism, etc has seriously weakened the world. Electing "populists" seems to have problems when faced with complex problems. The left (around the world) constantly claimed Trump was going to get us into WW3, the same left who now clap at every sanction and Russian that gets cancelled.
Showing weakness in the face of aggression is not a good strategy. There have been many well documented cases of Trump showing weakness and caving in to Russian interests, As a quick example, here's some examples from 2018-2020: - Trump congratulated Putin on his sham election
- Trump balked at sanctions for Skripal poisoning
- Trump praised pro-Russian leaders in Europe
- Trump defended Soviet invasion of Afghanistan
- Trump asked allies to let Russia back in the G7
- Trump’s Syria withdrawal gave Putin a boost
- Trump spread Russian myths about Ukraine
- Trump personally froze $391 million in US military and security assistance for Ukraine in mid-2019.
- Trump slow-walked sales of anti-tank missiles to Ukraine because of concerns it would upset Russia
- Trump smeared US ambassador to Ukraine (Marie Yovanovitch)
- Trump considered visiting Putin on Russian soil
- Trump invited Russia to 2020 G7 summit
- Trump directed CIA to share intel with Russia
- Trump ignored warnings of Russian bounties
- Trump ordered US troops out of Germany
(cite: https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/17/politics/trump-soft-on-russia/index.html) Even Bombing Bolton is coming out and saying that Trump's plan after 2020 was to withdraw from NATO. And I'd say that Bolton is *not* a left wing stooge based on his record. Have to say it, the right wing in the US seems to have been compromised and that's not good... The previous strategy of praising, supporting, and appeasing Russia results in the situation we have now. They did not work. Thus the sanctions. Note: This is not "cancel culture", it's refusing to sell the knife to the person who has said they will cut your throat. Ok, rant off. :-)

At the rate of how this is going... From all of those almost 600 planes, just like 100 of them are fighter jets. (maybe a bit more then 100, but they are spread all over the biggest country on Earth, so they are not that many) Haven't checked how many helicopters they have. But at this rate, things are happening!

Styxenhammer makes a good point about this shunning and cancelling of Russians (even Mazepin was booted out of F1 I saw this morning). Styx points out this is what happened after WW1 and only lead to an even bigger problem with the rise of nationalism, then Hitler and Nazism.

When the entire world (except for a few countries) suddenly jumps all on one enormous bandwagon that raises more questions than answers to me. Also you don't understand what I'm saying about nationalism. In the wake of the west's sanctions I see this being a possibility of what can happen WITHIN Russia in the next decade or so perhaps causing a massive problem, certainly if China still happily trades with them. Even if the west doesn't buy Russia's gas and oil (which I highly doubt can be sustained for decades) China will be a happy customer for sure. Edit... Furthermore there seems to be this sort of propaganda attitude that Russia's armies are weak and do nothing. Whilst people in the west are worried about if grown men should go into women's bathrooms and which pronouns to use, this sort of thing does worry me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDGUSH6YPqM&ab_channel=Reuters

I am sorry, but I have no clue what you are talking about, and I strongly suspect that you don't either. Or, is it a 'talk' after a few drinks?
No, pretty sober on this one. What is unclear about my thoughts here? Oh, it's just your cavalier attitude arguing FOR the nuclear war...and soon. I am pretty sure that actual capabilities are well known to those who needs to know, and I am also quite certain that you are not among them, hence I read it as a bravado of a person who knows pretty much nothing about it. https://www.sciencealert.com/here-s-why-incompetent-people-often-seem-so-confidentYes, you don't sell the knife to the guy who said he will use it, but in this case the 'guy' had a 'gun' instead for more than 70 years. As the others had posted, nuclear war= we are all dead (in the larger cities) and if you are in the rural area, then you likely to die in the following 6-12mo. I read once that pres Kennedy was reviewing conflict preparations and found out that even smaller cities had several "units" (be a bomb or a rocket) targeted at them, therefore, no chance to get out of it if you stay put beforehand. Not going to post anything about our prior pres. as it just inflames everyone.

some tech news from Pauls Hardware the first 4 minutes or so covers news related to the war and is politically slanted...the correct way imo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QbwLViPCEQthe interesting points were about chip manufacturing and AMD and Intel banning sales to Russia and the fact that 90% of the worlds neon comes from Ukraine which is a critical resource needed in wafer production https://www.reuters.com/breakingviews/ukraine-war-flashes-neon-warning-lights-chips-2022-02-24/huh... war in south east asia... opium and oil war in central america... cocaine and oil war in the middle east... oil and oil war in Afghanistan... rare earth metals and oil war in Ukraine... neon and oil? seems to be some correlation here but I cant quite make it out -------- #haikuSundaythis feeling inside can a haiku hide the rage? fuck no it can not
----------- the Sunday morning wall report struggling somewhat with this resistance zone at $40k but hodling encouraging in a nutshell dyor 1h 4h D stronghands

https://twitter.com/olex_scherba/status/1500361063472283648 Reflections you see in the teapot does not fit what you see on Russian news, Putin should have been surrounded with people. https://twitter.com/OlgaNYC1211/status/1500514781308108804----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Result: brainwashed Russians. (Although, thousands of civilians arrested today during ant-war protests so not all people buying all those lies.) Ukraine war: 'My city's being shelled, but mum won’t believe me'Oleksandra and her four rescue dogs have been sheltering in the bathroom of her flat in Kharkiv since the shelling began.
"When I heard the first explosions, I ran out of the house to get my dogs from their enclosures outside. People were panicking, abandoning their cars. I was so scared," she says.
The 25-year-old has been speaking regularly to her mother, who lives in Moscow. But in these conversations, and even after sending videos from her heavily bombarded hometown, Oleksandra is unable to convince her mother about the danger she is in.
"I didn't want to scare my parents, but I started telling them directly that civilians and children are dying," she says.
"But even though they worry about me, they still say it probably happens only by accident, that the Russian army would never target civilians. That it's Ukrainians who're killing their own people."
