Yay falling off a cliff again. Don't worry all you hodlers, it will do what the guy 2 posts above me said eventually, I just want the chance to buy back in at 400 where I foolishly sodl.

In the big scheme of things the difference in price between $400 and $500 is not that big of a deal.  I would definitely buy some back now.
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Nope. You can withdraw BTC from Chinese exchanges. But feel free to ignore reality.

Nah, I think you guys are going over the line. He is not paid nor he will be awarded for his posts from anyone, there's nobody who would pay him to do it, tbh.

He is just intellectual troll who find this as some kind of perverse challenge for himself, he's probably licking his lips now how he is doing us here.

I0ve never seen anyone spending so much time on the subject he thinks it's a failure though, sad state of mind really.

To make it clear, i don't disagree with this. it is the most probable explanation-

Or he could be testing his beliefs by presenting them to a heavily dissenting audience. I mean, it's roughly the same thing viewed from the outside, but with significantly less assumed derisive laughter and sadistic enjoyment on his end.

If so, he does it in a very unreasonable way, unprofessional, not in a way expected from a guy supposedly educated in the scientific method and discussion with peers.

+1.  Emphasis mine.

Of course I have nothing personal against Jorge - I'm just disappointed that his skills are misdirected and I believe, for reasons I don't care to worry about, that he is being consistently intellectually dishonest.  His signature is particularly disingenuous.

Many of us here welcome solid intellectual arguments that challenge our assumptions.  It's genuinely sad to see emotionally-motivated trolling so cunningly disguised as sophisticated objective analysis.

BTC community would consider it very bullish, the best thing that could happen right after the Gox debacle and the CHINESE BITCOIN BAN.

Chinese Slumber Method prediction for Sunday March 30

Prediction valid for: Sunday 2014-03-30, 19:00--19:59 UTC (not before, not after)
Huobi's predicted price: 2987 CNY.
Bitstamp's predicted price: 493 USD.

Plot legend

Today's Slumber Point was fairly good (S = 0.0045, W = 0.668) and the two previous one are not too bad.  These three points are obviously not in a straight line. The best fit seems to be a decaying shifted exponential, namely A + B*Q**(d-d0), where d is the day of the month, d0 = 27, and Q is sufficiently small. Choosing Q = 0.100 gives A = 2987.36 and B = 136.38 by least squares.

The Bitstamp prediction, as usual, is the Huobi prediction divided by the currency conversion factor R, which was assumed to be 6.06 CNY/USD (it was 6.02, 6.08, 6.03, 6.12 at the last four Slumber Times).

Checking the previous prediction

Prediction was posted on: Friday 2014-03-28, 22:30 UTC
Prediction was valid for: Satuday 2014-03-29, 19:00--19:59 UTC (~21 hours later)

Huobi's predicted price: 2858 CNY.
Huobi's actual price (L+H)/2: 2998 CNY
Error: 140 CNY (~23 USD)

Bitstamp's predicted price: 470 USD.
Bitstamp's actual price (L+H)/2: 498 USD
Error: 28 USD

NOTE: Why did the chicken cross the trend line?

Covert elements of the US government are behind bitcoin, hence why China and Russia hate it so much. US will never ban it.

I didn´t talk about a complete  USA ban, i talked about USA blocking transfers to Bitstamp due to the fact that they are not registered with FINCEN.

The enemy is changing from ignore mode to fight mode. Expect to see condemnation, manipulation, bans on exchanges, bans on trade, outright ban of posession. But these attacks will be disorganized, panick-like. As soon as we have a ban in one country, the other country will unban it. Even a few recommendations, from small countries, themselfs victims of banksters.

Most government masters are happy to screw their owned subjects with inflation and bank abuse, but noone really likes that the Fed screws their own fiat and the population of far away countries.
