I just want to point out to all the mentally challenged in here that Ukraine is winning the war, and has been doing so since the russians bogged down in the super long convoy that they thought was going to take Kiev.

That convoy is now history and thay are slowly advancing in the east and south.
Only yesterday 400 russian soldiers were killed and ten tanks, sixteen IFVs, seven artillerysystems and MLRSs, five AA systems and sixtynine (69) transportvehicles were taken out.

About 50 Ukrainian soldiers were killed.

Oh, they are so winning.

This will probably end in something like the Korean situation where the Russians are being kicked out of Ukraine and there is a unruly border situation, while Russia more and more becomes like north Korea and Ukraine becomes like south Korea, rich, democratic and part of the western world with superior armed forces.
Remember, lend lease one hasn't even arrived yet and they are allready kicking the shit out of the russians, just wait until the F15 and F16 planes and Abrams tanks and all the other stuff that they now are being trained on arrives.

I'm guessing they will take some 30 km or so of russian territory as a buffer zone and then start taking out all the long range missiles and airplanes that is pestering Ukraine with constant terror bombings of civilians from russian territory. The western planes can take the Meteor, the worlds longes range air to air missile, the russian airplanes can't hide in safety in russian or belarussian territory anymore when they arrive.

While speculators start to get bearish as price corrects to $21K, I'm only feeling more bullish that the low is in now.

Newsflash: Bitcoin's network growth clearly doesn't care about short-term price action after spike in hash rate today.

I know you guys keep being delusional and don't want the price to go down. But the price must go down. You must endure that suffering. For the sake of communism.

Selling your coins is not a solution. But buying more is not a solution either, not yet at least. You must wait for maximum pain, and then you buy. You just need more pain.

Also as long as you can sell your coins for fiat. I wish you all get locked out/away from your coins for at least a few years, until every fiat system becomes worthless and you can trade your stuff only for physical goods. When you will trade your stuff for goods because nothing else is good, then you have the confidence that there will be a new holder.

Price will go under 20K. So what? You shouldn't count in dollars anyway. Count in loafs of bread or in cars.

The BTC price isn't going to go up if the vast majority of the population cannot afford to buy a piece. And that is not because of the price of a Bitcoin but simply no money left to speculate / invest.

I may sound like a broken record but you simply cannot triple or quadruple people's energy bills without massive consequences in all financial markets. This is unprecedented what is happening and especially what is about to happen as the real damage is coming this winter especially in Europe. In the UK they are talking £6000 for the energy price cap by April next year, that is literally a tripling from where it is now.
Many people will be spending 1/4 to 1/3 of their net income on energy. It will be the biggest slap in the face we have seen. Far worse than Covid and the 2008 crash. BUT there is an opportunity of a great recovery after that, also with BTC I reckon.

Governments and central banks are slow to react. And much of the current proposals are Mickey Mouse and short term plasters (from windfall taxes, using a bit less energy to filling storage capacities, even most of the green "solutions" are going to cause massive problems as you need a tremendous amount of energy to create it). No one is talking about long term supply for energy, only short term solutions which will not reflect in the retail gas price and will thus not help the economies at all.
MAYBE if there is peace with Russia again and Nordstream 1 & 2 can run at full capacity things will settle tremendously but there does not appear to be any political appetite for that regardless of who you want to blame.


Hopefully in 6-12 months we can see BTC recover again beyond 30K but I'm pretty pessimistic about the price till then.

One thing's for sure: green parties are going to be wiped off the face of the political landscape in Europe very soon!

I expect a decline first to 18 thousand dollars and then to 13 thousand dollars within 1 month. I think the market should be looking at these prices as well, especially for the next bull. I think that would be the healthiest thing. It's just an idea. It's not a sure thing, of course.

This opinion (13) is so common and was repeated by "influencers" and crypto twitter so many times, that, imho, it most certainly won't happen (as a bottom).
However, I don't have a prediction. There are too many moving parts. Someone else (Bitcoin Bunny?) had a valid point about retail, especially in Europe, having NO money left after heating, transportation and food. That might (or should) affect bitcoin trajectory.

My electricity just went from 11 to 15.6 c/kwh (a 42% increase)...I can handle it, but it is a $400-500 monthly bill during summer. Natural gas is also up, but not as catastrophically as in Europe for clear reasons.

On a bigger picture: is the economy on the precipice of something nasty? At the moment, i don't think so...or at least not yet.

My electricity just went from 11 to 15.6 c/kwh (a 42% increase)...I can handle it, but it is a $400-500 monthly bill during summer. Natural gas is also up, but not as catastrophically as in Europe for clear reasons.

They really are doing a good job of making investing in a solar system worth it.
