Happy new month in arrears..and happy Halloween 🎃 in advance…..well we’ve seen a very great welcome by  UPTOBER by the way  the price of bitcoin is moving upward since when we step into the new month….maybe it will be possible to see the $140k in this month..🤔

Well… about my adventure of reading through this entire thread..I have already covered the first 50 pages of this thread..even though i was a bit busy last week, I was still consistent in reading everyday and eventually I might reach the  1000th page which is the page I plan to stop the adventure.

My new decision: I have decided not to read to entire thread but to read just the first thousand pages which I’m expecting to finish in less than a year….

All it took for BTC to take off was one shutdown in the US. It would be logical to conclude that investors are looking for security in Bitcoin, or is it something else?

thaT 118K LOOKS NICE.

and my scrap copper (eth cables)  price is up from $1.15 a pound to $1.25

silver doing well
as is doge and ltc and solana

all in all a nice nice day today.

I think it's interesting that the cables are sold by pounds and not by meters, but whatever, because if x meters is equal to x pounds, there's no problem, they know what they're doing., ...(...and dash today...)

Senate hearing on bitcoin, etc, taxation...scroll to what you are interested in:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Y1zv__mAIU
for example:
https://youtu.be/3Y1zv__mAIU (coincenter policy guy, who makes sense).

"(...)
...Adding to the optimism, the US Treasury clarified that unrealized Bitcoin gains held by corporations will not be taxed, which is being deemed a landmark policy shift and is widely expected to drive more firms to adopt BTC as a reserve asset.

On-chain data echoed the bullish backdrop. CryptoQuant noted that exchange reserves fell sharply from 2.61 million BTC in early September to 2.49 million by October 1, which indicated a strong outflow into cold storage and reduced near-term sell pressure.

As Bitcoin entered its so-called “Uptober” phase and gold notched new all-time highs, a wave of bullish sentiment appears to have swept over crypto markets."
-yesterday I heard on the radio them talking about the shutdown and they were commenting when on April 5, 1933 Franlin D roosvelt decreed the confiscation paying 20$ per ounce, and or a fine of 10k for anyone who was found with,.. years later selling for twice as much... And they were talking about the likelihood of that happening again, and I, hmmm... ETF's critpos.... hmmm... so.., if it ends up happening again, they have something to confiscate, except for the one they keep in their wallets that are under their control, these, look for a good place to keep them, if it happens and they start hunting for self-custodians, as happened in Venezuela, China and etc....

-'' ....Executive Order 6102 required all persons to deliver on or before May 1, 1933, all but a small amount of gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates owned by them to the Federal Reserve in exchange for $20.67 (equivalent to $502 in 2024) per troy ounce. Under the Trading with the Enemy Act of 1917, as amended by the recently passed Emergency Banking Act of March 9, 1933, a violation of the order was punishable by fine up to $10,000 (equivalent to $243,000 in 2024), up to ten years in prison, or both.

The order specifically exempted "customary use in industry, profession or art", a provision that covered artists, jewelers, dentists, sign-makers, etc. The order also permitted any person to hold up to $100 in gold coins,.....''

Is that what a sell wall is supposed to look like.   Not a wall but more obvious then normal, thats just the range boundary we've had for a while.  It can be beaten and some of it will fall down in the attempt imo.

Dollar Index is weak, it did attempt 100 in late July but currency continues to fall away in value. A few people have pointed out much of the price rises behind inflation have been delayed and likely still ahead of us.

-Oh! Thanks for Confort's words!! hehehe!!, two days ago I was thoughting the same, and I started renting to sell at 17k, increasing a little in 18500 and now in 19500, I hope it doesn't happen like other times I decided to 'bet this short-terms... I hope it doesn't go beyond 125k and goes straight to 158k where it is indicated at the intersection of my lines to predict the future... hahahaah!!, of course if it doesn't go up it will fall!! lol, but lately, it has happened that some crabs appear... well, I hope they appear from those big red crabs.... hehehe...
Until then I debuted trying to fix this shit...

Hopefully you guys do not end up selling too much on the way up in case it goes up more without any major correction, which I mean it is likely good to prepare for a variety of scenarios.. but yeah, everyone choses their price-based shaving sensitivities... meaning how much they might end up  selling at each price point versus how much coin they are still hanging onto.

Oh yes!! Clear!!! I hope they're not doing that!! and I also hope that they are following his advice of not spending more than 10% of the total BTCs saved, and I also hope that they don't lose their minds and end up making things worse... hehehe... I will be praying that these headless people find a way out and avoid these vices called 'fun'!! Roll Eyes  Grin   Undecided  Roll Eyes

Imho, eventually, 1031 with bitcoin will be possible.
It is NOT in the law right now, of course.
Exchanging btc to RE without paying cap gains (like RE 1031 exchanges) would be ideal.

The IRS's argument against this is that the cryptocurrencies are not like-kind, but at the same time, they said, "The properties being exchanged must be of the same nature or character, regardless of their grade or quality".
The grade and qualities of Bitcoin and the other coins differ, but they all have the same nature and character.
I agree it will be possible in the future, though, but it will take time and a great and compelling argument.

No worries, we're all, September even slightly annoyed some of us..

Just keep the chopper fueled and stay sober to be ready to fly it any time on short notice.
Also make sure to stay in shape, there might be occasions where the situation demands you to fly two missions a day (one could still be dreaming, right? RIGHT?).

Fiat is fiat. Dollar is dollar that is controlled by United States, unlike bitcoin. Even if United States government will not shut down, people should buy bitcoin  Grin

They have no two things that they will do to it after a long period of time than to less its price.

But bitcoin will increase in price instead.

‘OK babe, we call it UPtober’

‘Trust me it’s Q4, this is where things start flying’

‘We are going to the moon’

‘Me and the boys have been through so much to get here’

‘Let’s go to Gucci tomorrow, anything you want, is yours’
