How many of you think that Bitcoin will not get banned after 2028? As per my understanding, the current US President is an opportunist. He is using all his resources through his family to make more money through crypto than he made through real estate. I am confident that they will target Bitcoin first and then others like USDT.

While I am still not sure, the way India and China are working against Bitcoin and Stablecoin I feel this ban would be inevitable in these two countries. I think after Trump, these two coins will not be the favorites of the deep state.

If governments could ban Bitcoin, they would have done it years ago already. Bitcoin doesn't care whether or not they want to ban it.

Lockheed Martin is teasing something big and a lot of speculation is that they will be taking credit for the next gen crafts that we’ve been seeing. Skunkworks might be behind it all, which I would actually prefer as opposed to the current view in congress that these are alien crafts coming from the deepest parts of the ocean.

How many of you think that Bitcoin will not get banned after 2028?

How is that going to happen?

As per my understanding, the current US President is an opportunist.

Yep.  He has uncouth ways to profiteer from his position, and so it might be questionable the extent to which bitcoin benefits from these kinds of circumstances, even though it seems better for individuals to be in an environment that seems friendly rather than unfriendly to bitcoin, even though surely Trump is pretty good at screwing people over, even if they had previously supported him.

He is using all his resources through his family to make more money through crypto than he made through real estate. I am confident that they will target Bitcoin first and then others like USDT.

O.k.   So you are expecting some kind of a backlash against various cryptos including but not limited to bitcoin.  Depending on how long Trump stays in office, and even if he ends up fucking up some things along the way, there still may be some embedding and/or entrenching bitcoin into various financial systems in the USA and also throughout the world's financial systems that makes it more and more difficult to reverse, even if efforts to reverse might be attempted.

While I am still not sure, the way India and China are working against Bitcoin and Stablecoin I feel this ban would be inevitable in these two countries. I think after Trump, these two coins will not be the favorites of the deep state.

Are you trying to talk about current events or are talking about events 3.5 years in the future?    Even though there is nothing wrong with projecting expectations about the future, I would think that current events and current dynamics are more important to suss out and to make sure that we are protecting ourself for both current events and also perhaps keeping future possibilities in mind so that we are not caught totally off-guard, yet at the same time, quite a bit can happen in the next 3.5 years-ish, so our trajectory might change quite a bit from what you currently think will happen based on whatever actualy ends up happening in the next 3.5 years.

In regards to your forum registration date, Cointikka, you have been here since March 2019, so you have had quite a bit of time to build up a bitcoin position.. so hopefully, for your own good, you have been building up a bitcoin position and focusing on actual  important matters rather than pondering several years into the future about things that may or may not end up playing out within your speculations of them.

We entering Q4 soon. Fingers crossed An ATH that's really an ATH.

Those of you who focus on our various recent ATHs not being enough to compensate for the debasement of the dollar since late 2021 are lost.

By the way, our ATHs after late 2021, started around March 2024 with our going up to $74k-ish, and then resumed since November 2024 with various additional ATHs at various times in 2025 including but not limited to January 2025 with $109.3k prices and July going up to $112k, and our most recent ATH of $124.5k on August 13.

Sure the dollar has debased in the past 4 years (perhaps even close to 50%), yet ATH's are fleeting at best, and maybe some of you whiners (about not enough up) need to study BTC's 200-WMA.

In September 2021, the 200-WMA was $15,615.

Today, the 200-WMA is $52,770.

The difference is right around 3.4x.

I think that the difference between the 200-WMA 4-years ago and now accounts for whatever debasement of the dollar that has been taking place in the past 4 years, and I get the sense that spot prices are distracting, even if they are the prices that we are buying and selling our BTC to the extent to which any of us are buying and/or selling our BTC.

Unfortunately for us it appears that Lockheed Martin was just unveiling a new upgraded war machine. Their next gen support aircraft seems to be a replacement for satellites to provide better assistance for f-35 fighters. No fusion propulsion system unveil. So I guess we still have no explanation for the orb sightings. That latest hellfire missile collision definitely removed some skepticism. The mystery remains for now.

Ramen will kill you,
noodle researchers found out
what horror is next?

..
For certain groups, the risks piled up. Those under 70 who ate ramen three or more times a week had more than double the risk of dying compared with once-or-twice-a-week eaters. Frequent ramen lovers, who also drank alcohol regularly, saw their risk rise even higher, to 2.7 times.
..

Oh no for fucks sake,
what should we nourish on then
to survive the dips.

Let me add some

Unprocessed meat  13%
processed meat  20%
fried chicken 12%
Fries 2.7%
Sugar drinks 10%
[/s]

If I adds up all those numbers, I should be dead already. Roll Eyes

One of those above is not like the others.... Sometimes there are anti-nutrients added to foods, and our bodies can process quite a bit of inferior foods, but sometimes that anti-nutrients combined with other toxins in our environment (perhaps plastics in our water?) can end up taking tolls on our bodies and our abilities to stay healthy.

One: use common sense.
Two: eat whatever you want.
Three: don't stop moving.

My grandfather did this and lived to 106 y.o.
#lifeadvicehaiku

1) common sense isn't so common anymore...

2) In our youth, we are more able to tolerate inferior foods, and there are inferior foods that we might not realize how inferior they are.. including that some items are placed in foods that should not be consumed

3) a lot of us do have a somewhat sedentary lifestyle, and I agree that there likely are reasons to try to stay active.

Frequently, the main controllables are described as diet, rest and exercise.  I am not sure if we come to the correct balances through common sense.

Never said anything about dollar debasement.

Well in your post you were acting as if $124.5k (we use Bitstamp in these here parts) does not count, and surely there are others who are talking about the ATH not being high enough to account for changes in our cost of living since 2021 (as I addressed that perspective in my post).

I will agree that so far $124.5k is not very high, but it is still an ATH, and it is "really" the ATH that we have achieved so far.

Sure I can agree that it would be disappointing if $124.5k were to be the highest that we were to end up achieving for this cycle, and it does not seem likely that it is even a very likely scenario.. yet at the same time, each of us should attempt to be prepared financially and psychologically for a variety of scenarios including that $124.5k could have had been the top for this cycle.

Many of us also consider it to be a bit early for the bull run to be over (if it is?), and we would expect that there is going to need to be some pretty outrageous negative news for the cycle to have had finished with something in the ballpark of a $124.5k top..

I am having trouble imagining anything less than $180k as being a sufficiently reasonable top, yet we can never really know with any certainty regarding how short-to-medium term BTC prices are going to play out.
