You're thinking about Bitcoin's all-time high, but Bitcoin will go higher than you ever imagined. Just follow the time.

Gentlemen, which of you decided to pump the brakes? This train is on a schedule. LET'S GO!

Well, all this talk of moon and price is fun...but I can't see ANY way I will be selling any of my Hoard of BTC/Crypto till at 'least' 2035 (if I make it that long) and right

now it is in a trust I can control for friends/family that I WILL use for any and all emergencies...medical or otherwise for them and myself (they are in my will/trust)

as to myself...no debts and a classy nursing home is about all i expect for setting up the trust....i'm boring...$$$ i have and no debt is fine

boring got me into btc/crypto to hodl and i assume boring will get me to continue to hodl bitcoin...dang sure don't want to experiment on suddenly being 'exciting' Smiley

so it goes....playing the farmer game...passing the 'generational wealth' of virtual land down a generation or 10 I hope

so again, if i have to set a date for thinking about this again it will be 2035 when 99% of all btc has been mined at that date more or less

till then it is the farmer game of how high can land go? (Southern Minnesota $14k is tossed around a lot if now more) Smiley Fun to speculate but kinda moot.

but ...fun to speculate like a farmer with land prices...but if you have NO incentive to sell the family farm...same as I look at this trust with the virtual land

strategy wise if effects nothing (2007 dump.....2020 dump....in btc prices shudder) anyway...kinda weathered all this since 2013 I can hang a lot longer

also: Blackrock really, really, really wants my BTC.....talk about a big clue to HODL Smiley

brad

p.s. almost forgot my 'pump btc' song from 2013 till now i play on pumps and to HODL...the lyrics say it all for what it feels like to HODL and watch the btc/crypto drama

as to the 'pretty girl' thing..spy wise above on btc you drive a 2012 ford fusion and you are invisible Smiley

Secret Agent Man (lyrics: many a HODL'er swayed to sell by your opposite sex ...don't ya know)

~snip~.
would be a serious pump

Also a believer of a cycle end and a bearmarket?
I asked my psychic ball observer for a high yield prediction, he quoted the wise man from the silent hills.

A cheese burger and fries costs around 15$
I paid $27  at a diner for 3 egg cheddar cheese and onion omelet . Came with 2  pieces of toast hash brown potatoes a side of bacon and 2 cups of coffee.  So see btc at 200k is more or  less needed to be ahead of inflation.

That is not true.

What is your comparison point?

Are you going to say that it would have had cost less than $6.75 for the same meal (at the same place, or a similar place) 5 years ago (let's say October 3, 2020)?  Perhaps? perhaps?

But what did BTC do during that same timeline.  Do the real work.

If the specified dish was $6.75 in October 2020, and now it is $27, then that would be a 4x increase in prices during those last 5 years.  Is that what you are saying?

By the way, you are also picking one good and/or service and giving us your spin on the matter, yet is that good service representative of on average the price rises in the past 5-ish years (if that might be your timeline)?

I don't mind your proclaiming that there is inflation (and debasement of the dollar), yet I do mind your attempt to proclaim that bitcoin has not done enough for those of us who have been accumulating and/or holding bitcoin in the past 5-ish years (or whatever might have had been your intended timeline for your proclamation).

If we go by bitcoin's spot price in the past 5 years, it has already beat the shit out of inflation.  In October 2020, we had BTC prices around $11k, and now we have BTC prices around $122k-ish.  That is right around 11x increase in BTC.

Let's look at the 200-WMA.  On October 4, 2020, the 200-WMA was  about $6,771, and now it is $53,354-ish.  That is nearly 8x.

There is no reason to proclaim that we need to have even more BTRC price appreciation in order to be ahead of inflation.  Bitcoin has kicked the ass of almost any asset and/or currency and/or commodity, so no need to place false objectives that it does not even need to meet in order to be successful. Bitcoin is already quite successful.

Bitcoin has hit $120,000 again in last seven weeks. It's only the beginning of October. I'm  waiting for a new all-time high this month.
The price of Bitcoin reached $122k in early October. However, if you look closely, you will see that although the price has increased compared to before, it is not known how much it will increase and the price may also decrease.
We saw on August 14 that the price of Bitcoin had increased and reached $124k, but since it has not reached that price now, it may increase further.

Warning: Mountain of BS ahead. Detour if allergic.

Did Bitcoin Creator Satoshi Turn Bullish on Ripple XRP Before Anyone Else?

Yes, indeed Satoshi believed ripple was better than bitcoin, but he disappeared before being able to evangelize us all  Roll Eyes

Quote
The claims argue that Satoshi acknowledged Ripple’s model as one of the few alternatives to centralized systems.

Aha! Ripple as a paladin of decentralization, THE remedy to centralized system. Sure. Satoshi told me that in a phone call too.
/s

Most of the BS and the forged emails come from a twatter known as JackTheRippler (@RippleXrpie).

My personal opinion: Ripple is the shittiest of all shitcoins. Sorry, Satoshi.

Sometimes I think there should be a newbie admission test in order to be able to post here. Maybe it's just me...

That would be a great thing…

The WO should be protected a bit indeed.
It’s surely the most exciting long going thread on the forum and should have only respected people at it.
Like a kind of lock on it only people with at least  X-rank or something should be able to speak in here….

That would be something.

$180,000 - $250,000 when i observe into my crystalbal as cycle high.

would be a serious pump

Also a believer of a cycle end and a bearmarket?

Bitcoin has grown up. Institutional adoption, macro economic liquidity and ETFs which have changed market dynamics.
I don't believe we will suffer a 3 year brutal bear market again.

I also think a bit like this… though I’m prepared for what if we will suffer…
