~snip~ #HODL EDIT2: Just tried to stalk myself (my bitcointalk nickname) through chatGPT, in some more advanced and intensive ways, and i pretty much failed gaining any useful, OpSec relevant information. Of couse, i was (more or less) careful, having a historic background as a former internet hacker. ( Did i already mention that i miss the sound of 56k modems, but i still dream about them sometimes?)This was also due to the fact that Theymos seemed to have protected the forum against intensive parsing via bots and engines. Good work! EDIT3: re-edited this post a couple of times, as usual You're not the only one, that sound has remained something that's hard to get rid of, and I think I hear it sometimes. Moreover, I decided to keep my modem, and your post reminded me to check if it's still where I put it.

End of the month. Almost weekend. Low volume, bearish sentiment. Stocks/gold up. Perfect condition for a massive red candle.

No need to, it's all there: Real 56k Dialup Modem Sound-> https://archive.org/details/real-56k-dialup-modem-soundALL Old Modem Sounds (300 baud to 56K)-> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckc6XSSh52w^ Audio from the yt mp4 can easily be extracted with ffmpeg once downloaded as mp4 with yt-dlp: yt-dlp -f 234 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckc6XSSh52w ffmpeg -i ALL\ Old\ Modem\ Sounds\ \(300\ baud\ to\ 56K\)\ \[ckc6XSSh52w\].mp4 ALL\ Old\ Modem\ Sounds\ \(300\ baud\ to\ 56K\)\ \[ckc6XSSh52w\].mp3 #or with better quality: ffmpeg -i ALL\ Old\ Modem\ Sounds\ \(300\ baud\ to\ 56K\)\ \[ckc6XSSh52w\].mp4 -vn -ar 44100 -ac 2 -ab 192k -f mp3 ALL\ Old\ Modem\ Sounds\ \(300\ baud\ to\ 56K\)\ \[ckc6XSSh52w\].mp3
Edited to add: I personally still prefer J.S. Bachs 'Toccata and Fugue in D minor' as ringtone, things need some dramatic spice up at times

They just need some cutting up and selective boosting to make a few good ringtones.

Edited to add: I personally still prefer J.S. Bachs 'Toccata and Fugue in D minor' as ringtone, things need some dramatic spice up at times How fuck@#$ weird is this? I didn't even know about yt-dlp until just two days ago when I read an article in HackerNews informing people that they could no longer rely on the native JavaScript... ah, rather than paraphrasing, here's the quote: Up until now, yt-dlp has been able to use its built-in JavaScript "interpreter" to solve the JavaScript challenges that are required for YouTube downloads. But due to recent changes on YouTube's end, the built-in JS interpreter will soon be insufficient for this purpose. The changes are so drastic that yt-dlp will need to leverage a proper JavaScript runtime in order to solve the JS challenges. https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/issues/14404 Anyway, I was surprised to see it mentioned here so soon after first learning about it. For the most part, I have been using web-based downloaders - nice to know there are other options.

~snip~ The headline isn't accurate. It's just one politician asking this, I wouldn't call that "considering". The part about inflation is laughable: inflation is created on ECB on purpose, and politicians (and even the ECB itself) act as if it's a force of nature or even "a ghost".

Bitcoin Resilience Tested: Price Loses Key Support Band, Drop to $105,000 Likely
The crypto king has lost ground as bearish momentum strengthens, with limited support from macroeconomic conditions further worsening sentiment.
Bitcoin Faces Correction - Spot Bitcoin ETFs are playing a critical role in the current selloff, with significant outflows marking the week. Since Monday, the funds have recorded withdrawals totaling $226 million. This is a sharp reversal from the steady inflows seen earlier this month. Such moves reflect growing caution among institutional investors.
Beyond ETFs, broader signals are pointing toward more downside risk for Bitcoin. The Supply Quantiles Cost Basis Model shows BTC slipping under the 0.95 quantile band, an area closely watched by analysts. This range typically represents heavy profit-taking zones for long-term holders.
A sustained decline below this risk band would confirm bearish conditions. Historically, such moves have preceded steep drawdowns, putting price targets between $105,000 and $90,000 in play. With macroeconomic headwinds and cautious institutional flows, Bitcoin’s outlook leans heavily toward weakness. ► https://finance.yahoo.com/news/bitcoin-resilience-tested-price-loses-135642238.html
