I think that the "China volume" should jump right now in the South China Sea with a stone tied to it's legs:).

So we can get rid of it once for all.

No, that wasn't 6 months ago... It is all mentioned in the coindesk article.

This is not the first time that Donahoe has commented on the company’s interest in bitcoin. Last year, the eBay CEO stated that a bitcoin payment option may eventually be added to PayPal.

Yet the new statements are more positive than the ones made last year. In 2013, Donahoe said eBay was “kind of thinking about” integrating bitcoin, suggesting that the company was investigating the digital currency:

I thought they were one and the same, only reason they separate the two, is to screw you over with eBay fees on top of paypal fees, then force you to issue a refund, once the buyer receives the item.

this has happened to me more then once....

maybe they can cut back on fee / fraud with bitcoin

Ebay is big news. How many other retailers will jump on board after that endorsement?. That combined with the wave of atms, new exchanges, investment funds, investment into bitcoin business, etc. will make a big wave soon. It's only a matter of time.

From the article it links  to the previous article dated Nov 2013 which is ...............................6 months ago.  I am so excited when I remember something!!!!!  Thank you for making me check it.

I bet in 6 months they will be even more active in their evaluation of btc.  They follow, they don't lead.

No way they ever have Bitcoin in PayPal, only when hell freezes over. They couldn't handle a non-reversible payment method.

Looking into it at this time, actively or not, is just nothing. Deliver or be ignored.

Though you're generally right about that one, you'd bleed 'til death if Paypal would pick Bitcoin instead of Ripple, wouldn't you? Cheesy

No thanks, this is not rumor at all. He'd just been kind and diplomatic, nothing more. Paypal real news would be enough big to buy on news and make money on it.
