This isn't looking too bad. Don't count on panic buying quite yet, but we're getting there... Too lazy to screen cap it now, but take a look at the 6h or 2h chart. Beautiful, almost uninterrupted move upwards, and not mean reversion momentum driven, which means it actually counts for something.
Real test is getting to the previous top at $616 though. Any chance we'll get there in 24h?
Perhaps not really ... well we never know when it is going to happen ... but I think not in next 24h... If I would predict anything I would say - a drop till monday to $550, and $650 till next Friday. Regards

Wow, went away for a few hours and come back to find this thread has turned into a glorified BTC-e trollbox.
Well fellas, I amn't participating in this stupid debacle of a thread about the SR auction any longer. I'm done. If you guys want to believe any FUD about the auction that supposedly comes out, go right ahead. It won't be true, but whatever.
Now everyone is getting upset because the price isn't skyrocketing like they all predicted earlier. Damn, I hate being right all the time... Damn, I love it when you're wrong. Now go and be a good boy and panic buy back in at a loss. Or he/she can just leave the forum for good.

this is insider trading, that huge buying volume is not normal.
think we will get some positive news about the auction SOON.

some1 wanted to buy the auction for 600 - and he didnt won the auction
--> panic buy.
I may be wrong, but afaik no one knows who won the auction, even those who won it don't know. They, you, I, the world will know monday, not today.

Any chance for a wave of panic buys if $600 is passed (Short squeeze?? Is that the term?)
Almost there apparently...

Damn, I love it when you're wrong. Now go and be a good boy and panic buy back in at a loss. lol how am I wrong? We're at the same price as earlier today. Exactly nothing happened, just like I told everyone for days and got flamed for it. No you were wrong, you said we would see a new round of dumping after a bounce back up to 580 but instead we rallied on to 598 now and probably will go higher soon. Let me remind you since you seem to have a very selective memory: Now we'll experience a bounce back up to $580 or so before the next round of sell offs begin.
This isn't manipulation; somebody knows that the coins are selling at a discount and is dumping now.

Yeah, fine, I'll concede that I'm a little off the mark on that last one. All the bullish optimism must be pressuring some players to panic buy... we're a little under $600 right now, but we're hitting some heavy resistance. I don't think this mini-rally is going to hold up much longer... buying pressure is already thinning out.

calm down buddy, does it really matter when which who or where? =D
what count is that it will be above market price no matter how you want to define the price =D
Disagree. I think the price doesn't matter. It's an off-market price and does not affect the supply/demand in the marketplace. Everyone who sold from 650 down has to buy back those coins. Their purchase will be relatively inelastic. Everyone who has been waiting to buy coins because of the uncertainty will have to buy coins. They will have to chase them up the hill. It matters who buys them. If it is an institution, we know immediately that those coins will be held strongly for a long time. Otherwise it is more ambiguous. uh-huh
