MatTheCat we went an hour or so before the pump from $590 to $575. You would probably be shaken out if you would be long. You really can't see anything further than 15 minutes?

btc.sx <- is this ligit? I read the FAQ, but I'm already drunk and I don't quite understand, but it seems legit. plus it seems to be Bitcoin only, I haven't yet seen a deposit or even a balance for fiat. in fact, it doesn't look to have any ties on the customer end to fiat at all. just plain old bitcoin betting I'm seriously curious, has anyone tried this out yet? Why not just use bitfinex? There are futures contracts at icbit.se, and plus500 and avatrade can offer you usd based exposure.

1 Day MACD is heading towards Greenville. The Weekly just parked in Greenville again. On Monday or Tuesday, then both should both meet in Greenville. There, all of us bulls will pile onto the Greenville bandwagon and go for a fun ride.

obviously below 600 would have been better, but it's still a good bet I think. just try not to sell to early, it's gonna be a rough ride. Also, I figure you'd be a good one to ask since you trade leverage. what do you think of https://btc.sx how do I enter a long position if I can't bet fiat? naw....when it was below 600, I was sitting staring at the emerging bearish divergences and oversold states on many indicators thinking...Naw.....no way! But that is it now...away to go offshore for 5-6 weeks. Won't be able to touch those Bitcoins from there so whatever the market does from here is what it does. Dunno about btc.sx....barely even heard of it. On Bitfinex, I am pretty sure you can use BTC as collateral for a leveraged long position...or if not, just sell your BTC and use the USD to take a leveraged long.

Yes I've tried it and it's shit. I mean technically is legit and all, it's not a scam per se, but the spread is astronomical and it is 1:10 leverage only. Meaning that if the price goes 10% against you (actually less, because of the spread) you get margin called. Bitfinex is a lot better. PS: oh, and if I remember correctly the fees are high AF too.

Mat, hang on to your pants and walk away from the trading machine. Set an alert and come back in 5 days. You'll be happy.
I really don't think so. Longer term charts are shaping up nicely but shorter term ones (4hrs) are looking horrible. Bearish divergences and overbought states all over the place.

Other people can and do profit from my TA and my trading advice (sometimes even I do). As long as they know not to listen to a word I say when I have my nose pressed up against the 15 minute charts.

Thanks for the input, much appreciated. they have 1:5 and 1:2 now as well, but yeah, if the price goes against you, then you lost your bet, it sucks. if the price goes in your favour, you win your bet and life is good again. or at least that's how it seems to me, I kinda understand how margin works but I've never done it, so I think I should.

Bitfinex never got an ID for my registration. Although I am not fully verified and I take my profits in bitcoin and they go straight to paper wallets monthly. Im sure to set up bank accounts and such requires ID but not for bitcoin/litecoin in and out only.

Exactly. You can trade at Bitfinex without disclosing any personal info. Only if you want to deposit or withdraw fiat you have to.

LOL, there's one thing I really like about you Mat and that's that you're dead honest about yourself. You spare nobody especially not yourself. I have to give you respect for that. Good luck with your off shore duties and hope you come back in a couple of weeks to see the bitcoin price sitting nicely around 800.

thank you, that is pretty cool, but I thought I heard recent reports of extra verification required to withdraw bitcoin, even from people who were already registered... I'm definitely going to check it out tho, thanks again.
