F*ck Bfx.
I just lost 2k USD to their circuit breaker system.  It took 5 minutes for my market buy, 10 minutes for my market sell.

You should know the rules (if not, do your due diligence).  Don't be an idiot and try to trade with market orders on a platform with a known circuit breaker.

The sell was a stop order, which converts to market order when triggered.
Apparently stops are fairly worthless on Bfx.

BFL is finally gonna take it up the ass. That and the PayPal announcement=

As happy as i am that BFL is fucked it isn't good for Bitcoin. Just imagine the news and how people react to it. Another "bitcoin company" who screwed everyone over. More ammo for the haters how Bitcoin is evil.

Nonsense! People will see their is motivation for Bitcoin businesses to be reputable because they are not above the law. It is just as possible for all of the prosecutions to be positive. It's much worse to see businesses get away with constantly screwing people.

Isn't the whole point of their circuit breaker to stop cascading stops from getting out of hand?

Not crossed 450$. I'm calling it- bulltrap and short squeeze.

This is not paypal integration per se but something much much less. Comparable with that braintree news?

But people will buy on the news after pump as usual so we will not see below 400$ for a while.  Sad

Too many dumpers.
Biggest news this year -> dump the shit out of the market and put up massive ask walls so the price won't go up.

This rally seems to have started in the West, while China was sleeping.

The price started to rise gradually around 17:36 UTC on Bitfinex, BTC-e, Bitstamp, but on relatievly low volume.  Huobi and OKCoin gave no sign of change.

Big buys started at 17:40, and only then Huobi and OKCoin suddenly started to rise.

No, like when Slik Road was taken down, it is good when what are generally* considered "illegitimate elements" are removed from the ecosystem.

Will we break 450? sure, but will we also break 400?

not anymore. <400 days are gone

Maybe, maybe not.

Still, I'm glad I bought 3 more coins today just before the spike, or I should say, as it was starting.

The gang at Decentral (including Vitalik) were freaking because the ATM hadn't updated the price fast enough and they saw I was buying well below Virtex price instead of 5% over.

Whew. Talk about timing.
