It will eventually die when nobody invest in bitcoin like any artist when nobody support her or him, they are already useless. Bitcoin will consider useless without any investors.

No demand, yeah, it's possible but I'm not looking forward. Bitcoin is the future and we're now living its various benefits. I do not see that bitcoin would lost a demand by the users, bitcoin continuous to adopt by people and countries that is why the demand will continuous to increase also the traders not stop to make a demand in bitcoin. I think only blockchain can die bitcoin when it will stop to operate. |

This is the only way that bitcoin will be dead meat. But since then I doubt it that bitcoin will be dying very soon. There's a lot of new coins that are coming out and keeps on saying that they are better than bitcoin and will take over the place. But no one did ever win. |

This is the only way that bitcoin will be dead meat. But since then I doubt it that bitcoin will be dying very soon. There's a lot of new coins that are coming out and keeps on saying that they are better than bitcoin and will take over the place. But no one did ever win. bitcoin could move up so fast and skyrocketing , then why not it's get drop so deep until even completely disappeared? satoshi itself have said about this i guess. the future of bitcoin are in our own hands. if you still need it to use for whatever reason then bitcoin wouldn't die as long as there's an interest even from a small groups. for now i can only see the growth of bitcoin getting faster and faster. so there's nothing to worry. |

Just like what happen in the past when there was a panic and it almost made bitcoin dead because the market collapse but good thing there are still people who trust it and circulate bitcoin so now we are in sitting in success. |

In my opinion, there are 3 areas that may bring down Bitcoin to an end.
1) Political- We can never say anything or question the government. If they feel that Bitcoin is affecting the country's economy, then they might ban it for that country.
2) Financial Crisis- We all know how financial crisis affects the whole world economy. With that, Bitcoin as something that is not yet stable and big like the other areas of the economy, might die together with the downfall of the world economy.
3) Internet Crash- Because who knows, maybe some day the internet will just become down and inaccesible because of factors such as protection due to nation conflicts.

Yes, one thing is the existence of internet. If internet dies, so is bitcoin. Another thing is another cryptocurrency will evolve and with more advance technology, thus there will he a massive transfer of usage from bitcoin to that new cryptocurrency. If low demand of bitcoin, eventually bitcoin will die. So, it's really not that possible that it will happen decades from now. |

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
This is a very interesting question. I think it is possible if in the future other cryptocurrencies supersede it in value and acceptance in many important countries, it may cause bitcoin to slowly die off. Or maybe a saturation of the cryptocurrency market. |

There are few government that banned bitcoin and bitcoin is still a live so i don't think that banning bitcoin will push its death because bitcoin is a strong cryptocurrency and nothing can stop bitcoin even if the internet will shutdown, bitcoin will still be there and will comeback as long as the internet goes online again. |

Bitcoin will not die never. It's the whole economy which is not subject to the government and functions only on mathematical laws. This is a perfect example in order to run the economy of any country if the officials did not steal money from the budget.

Actually the banning process is only a temporary action by a government. Look at the years before, all U.S. States before totally made Marijuana illegal to be use right now there are certain states in which smoking pot is totally legal. If this countries see the benefits of Bitcoin to their economy it will totally rescind the ban on Bitcoin. Look at the Russian Government from what I know they are overturning the ban on Bitcoin. |
