I think it can die, it can die using "us". We can kill bitcoin using do not take bitcoin or do not use bitcoin anymore or maybe if all of us do not agree to bitcoin it is the only thing that bitcoin can die.

I don't think that it will ever happen as the users of bitcoins have faith in its potential and they will never think of quitting bitcoins as its giving them a good earning opportunity and people are making good money from it.

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
For me,  i think the possible thing that will happen in bitcoin is that there are no demands for this. Asides from that is that there are many hackers that continuously stealing from many people who do all the efforts just for this. And lastly,  no one is supporting the bitcoin because of the scam they made in many people.

At first, i had the opinion that bitcoin will die after the last block is mined and they said there is currently 7 Millions bitcoins left to be mined in the entire world and the estimated time when the rest of the bitcoins left to be mined will be in 2140, When it's mined, miners will be paid from the transaction fees but someone recently said that there are even more bitcoins in existence than what we currently imagine unfortunately i dont think  will be around in 2140 to see if its true or not.

I think every crypto portfolio should have a certain amount of bitcoin that you won't sell for years. If it turns into a global reserve currency (assuming the upcoming scaling goes well and security is maintained), then nations could start buying. Even if only a small amount of a nation's reserves is in Bitcoin, the price could easily enter the $1,000,000 per bitcoin range.

It will eventually die when nobody invest in bitcoin like any artist when nobody support her or him, they are already useless. Bitcoin will consider useless without any investors.

This is the only way that bitcoin will be dead meat. But since then I doubt it that bitcoin will be dying very soon.

There's a lot of new coins that are coming out and keeps on saying that they are better than bitcoin and will take over the place.

But no one did ever win.
bitcoin could move up so fast and skyrocketing , then why not it's get drop so deep until even completely disappeared? satoshi itself have said about this i guess. the future of bitcoin are in our own hands. if you still need it to use for whatever reason then bitcoin wouldn't die as long as there's an interest even from a small groups. for now i can only see the growth of bitcoin getting faster and faster. so there's nothing to worry.

We have the control on bitcoin's economy if we will support it then it won't be dying easily.

But if we choose to condemn it then bitcoin will be dying easily. As I can see today with bitcoin's situation, it's no way to be dead.
yeah that's what i mean, since bitcoin designed as a decentralized , everyone have equal responsibility to develop our beloved bitcoin. just the matter of time until people could really accept a new thing , a new financial technology that actually could bring everything easier. for better world , bitcoin shouldn't disappeared now or later.

I'm in 400,000 euros debt , dont help me , i rather die

i think bitcoin cannot die, not actually bitcoin cannot die but bitcoin die but it has own child or new coin so bitcoin cannot die maybe it not called bitcoin but it is from bitcoin

If you are talking about a coin BCC, then I do not agree with you. This coin can not be a continuation of bitcoin. It arose only because of the marketing ploy of a certain group of people. And soon she will disappear just as quickly. Bitcoin is now the leader and will be him for a long time.
I believe, bitcoins have no plans to make a family. It's a funny idea to make BCC or any other digital currency child of Bitcoins. Bitcoin alone is going to rule the crypto currencies. With its increasing popularity and number of investors, it is certain that Bitcoins are going to last for long and nobody will be able to take its throne. No matter how hard and how much people try to bring this currency down by their foul plans, this is not happening.

I think to end Bitcoin must have a tremendous impact on the world. May be a legal issue. Banks, the government has always been looking for ways to make Bitcoin disappear because people are so much profit from non-paying, anonymous transactions, international transactions, etc. So, one day, maybe the government will make Bitcoin disappear

I kind of see the decentralized everything coming in the next decade. decentralized payment system, decentralized stcok exchange market, decentralized voting system, decentralized governance
Yeah might come a competitor who would have technology like bitcoin (like having decentralization, anonymity, etc) and certainly more sophisticated, maybe it would pose a very serious threat to the continuity of life on bitcoin. Whether it will survive or not, it depends on bitcoin users

The only situation i can think of which will cause the end of bitcoins is a scenario where a new crypto-currency emerges and it becomes profitable for investors way more than Bitcoins, this will cause almost everyone to flock to it and make more money and thus they disregard bitcoin but its not going to die maybe it will be just less valuable.

Certainly cryptocurrency could be dead in the future, the most likely thing to do that is the government strictly prohibits cryptocurrency, and removes it ... so that investors will not dare to invest anymore, and there will be no cryptocurency

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, a cryptocurrency is ran through internet. If internet disappear cryptocurrency will disappear also. And when cryptocurrency is over bitcoin will die. Yet it is impossible for the internet to disappear.

I agree with you. Bitcoin will not die but its value will be lower than usual when there is a new crypto which is stronger than bitcoin and attract more investors. But It will be in a far future so that we do not need to worry much about it. Bitcoin is a good currency and it will keep domonate the crypto market for the next 20 years

The future can hold a lot of things, and there might be a crackdown on Bitcoin if it starts to snowball too hard with the average folk, but for right now it's not worth worrying about anything happening to the community

In order not to have a currency which can create outflow of investment from bitcoin you must always take care of timely upgrades of bitcoin. Civil war the miners and users are not helpful. Bitcoin can be killed only by internal contradictions.

At the moment I don't think there is a possibility of vanishing the bitcoins. Bitcoins are getting strong enough, so here after they will only grow. There has been tremendous awareness and popularity for bitcoins hence people are investing and trying their hand into this digital gold.

Bitcoin can lose its value if people lost confidence in him. Among the people who use bitcoin a lot of random people. All expect constant growth. Nobody thinks about the implications of that growth. When the first reductions in prices they will run and will provoke an even greater fall. It turns out that the stability of bitcoin prices depends only on the whales. This is bad and a big risk.

yes that is right that bitcoin is not going to die at any state. we can see that bitcoin is becoming more and more popular and it is sure that in future bitcoin will be trading in a very good potion. i can see bitcoin that it is becoming more popular because the interest of the people is increasing and they are even invested a good amount of money in bitcoin and sure that their interest will be more increasing from time to time.
