I am 100% sure that if Bitcoin dies at some point of time, then it will be due to a fault with Bitcoin itself. Government action can never kill Bitcoin because in order to do that you need to shut down the internet.
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
Only if all those who are now using Bitcoin, abandon it. I'm 99.9% sure that Bitcoin will not die.

If more country don't accept it. And also the things that could have an destructive effect on Bitcoin could be a collapse of the Internet,  A global Power outage, The sudden disapearance of technologie through a global catastrophy.

There is no situation that bitcoin would die. If everyone stops using it or if in some way becomes wothless, these are the two situations I think of that could make bitcoin die. But I don't know what could cause something like this, people get used to bitcoin and all benefits that it gives and demand is geting biger all the time. Bitcoin is really successful that people would really support the bitcoin.

Well, maybe when the situation began to lose confidence in the bitcoin users. people tend to leave bitcoin, because bitcoin is no longer provide benefits to users. but, I think it will not happen, because bitcoin will always provide many benefits to the users if we use it properly.
I think there is none situation that bitcoin would really die, because bitcoin was very helpful to many and is supported by many. But if everyone stops using it or if in some way becomes worthless, these are the two situations I think of that could make bitcoin die. But I don't know what could cause something like this, people get used to bitcoin and all benefits that it gives and demand is getting bigger all the time.

In truth my friend, at the start no country have accepted Bitcoin yet but it did not end. So why are you implying that it will end if that would ever happen?

All of that would only happen if a serious phenomenon happened. I want to think sci-fi-ish here so, more like alien invasion, zombie apocalypse, and even war. I think war would be the closest thing for this. If the war resulted a mass destruction to the world, then eventually we will lose this technologies you've just mentioned.

I think in my own perspective, there are only 2 things the bitcoin might fall.
1. Major number of countries ban the use of bitcoin because of insecurity and fear of not using fiat's services.
2. The blockchain concept dies.

I am not agreeing with you because the demand of the bitcoin is getting high with the time and it is the reason why bitcoin is having a very high price and the bitcoin is now helping a lot of the people who were not having any other source f0or the income and the bitcoin is going to increase more and more as much as the people will invest in the bitcoin it is the future for more than thousands of the people.

I think the most likely way in which bitcoin could die would be it being replaced by something better, this would be an impressive feat however and one that I don't really see happening any time soon, but all things must one day be replaced by something superior.

we cant hide the truth of it that someday it will be yet there is no forever but this is was just the question that what if it may happen , bitcoin can die anytime cause no one of us cant admit that it will last , yes let say as long as we adopt this kind of currency it will run and no one can stop but how about bitcoin by itself do the thing that we are all afraid for.

I think future of crypto overall is a very interesting and important topic.. and I want to learn more about it...
From my experience, I feel that conferences could be a good way to learn. I found this one https://blockshowasia.com/ and I'm thinking to go, but tickets are not so cheap, but I suppose it could worth it... what do you think guys? have you heard about it? It would be really interesting to know what experts think about future

It looks great! really interesting! I wish I could go, but it's a little bit expensive   Shocked

This conference worth it, I'm sure! And I know there is a promo code for 30% discount (VIP30), so you can save some money

I think bitcoin will not die because it is money that many people use. Some countries have accepted bitcoin, it has a great influence.

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

in next future it is hard to see end of bitcoin but new techno  will end of it (like bitcoin but more cheaper , fast, low fee )

When there's a new technology that can beat bitcoin's technology. And most of all, if we stop believing in bitcoin, it will surely die.

Bitcoin would end up only, if all users will be gone away or disappear in this industry, and that will happen only if the features of bitcoin will no longer be implement and not function properly which might cause of the community be get disappointed unto it. which will lead the value goes down into zero.
For me i guess i must say that a currency will never die unless all of it's users are gone and will not be using bitcoin anymore, that maybe is the only way why bitcoin may end of not live anymore. But also users will end up not using bitcoin if ever it would loose all of it's features that the users has liked even in the first place.

Why one should think about the death of a currency which is growing at a fast pace.

Any currency may die when it has no demand from its users. In Bitcoin case, no such thing is evident. Though, its demand is ever increasing. So, No demand for Bitcoin may cause death of this.

Also, if Bitcoin is banned all over the world or tagged as illegal because it being decentralised then it will die a natural death.

Bitcoin can't die since we use it. Bitcoin exists till there is at least couple machines in the world that run it. And now we have thousands of machines that run it. So even if BTC will die - it would not happen in a next couple of years
