Has anyone even gotten a wire to the U.S. with the 5% 'bank fee' within the last quarter or two?  I don't recall having heard so.
Here is at least one that I could remember from the end of November.  Not everyone will post about their withdrawals in this thread.

I buy with EUR and other currencies at a fair market price when you want to sell.  See http://bitmynt.no/eurprice.pl

I'm in the UK waiting for about $500,000 from last week of December.  I'm wondering whether to cancel the withdrawal and use SEPA where there is a 5 week delay.
SEPA is Euro
$ is not Euro
£ is not euro
$ & £ are international wire and the queue is <----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> this big

In the Beginning there was CPU , then GPU , then FPGA then ASIC, what next I hear to ask ....

OK.  I guess that if that report is true, then it is NOT the case the wires from Mt. Gox are being confiscated or something.

This means that Mt. Gox is sitting on people's money for other reasons.  Hypotheses include:

 - Liquidity issues (seems unlikely to me.)

 - Unanticipated costs shifted to customers (shitty business practices IMO.)

 - Strategic provocation of an arbitrage opportunity to be exploited by them and/or their co-conspirators.

About three weeks delay.  SEPA transfers are not affected by the new year holidays in Japan either.

The reasons have been explained and discussed along with all thinkable conspiracy theories during the previous 138 pages of this thread.  Let's not start over.  Read all of it and ask yourself again if you really want to repeat it.

I have high hopes for the Moneypolo withdrawal option.  Deposits are enabled already.

I have a question: I have high figures in usd atm @Mtgox. Do they actually pay no matter how long does it take? I dont mind waiting if actually my money is safe and will arrive to me sooner or later (in fact i mind but what to do...) %5 fee of a high figure wire transfer is so damn crazy. I am not in sepa zone, not in usa.. need usd wire transfer.

I would not suggest attempting arbitrage to someone does not have an inside line on how things are gonna change.  People who do, however, must be totally making bank!

I still say that if this whole gox ordeal withdrawals has not been cleared up after 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 6, 7, 8 months....sounds like a ticking time bomb.

That's just my take. I refuse to use Gox until they can prove to be loyal to their customers and actually put their customers first as opposed to giving them the finger when responding to support requests for withdrawing their fiat funds.

There have been several opportunities to get out of gox now, even without taking a haircut simply by cancelling your withdrawal and buying BTC / selling on another exchange.

I feel sorry for all the people who just found gox over google or similar and will get burned. For all the others I really have no understanding.

Another data point:

I made a 1k€ SEPA transfer from MtGox on November 26, and I received it on December 27.

Been waiting on roughly $8k in transfers from Gox to a US bank. Withdraw was "confirmed" on Gox's site on December 9th. Nearly a full month later, I'm guessing I should expect at least another 2 month delay?

At the moment, the 5% emergency int'l wire is the only working option for those who have a lot of USD in Gox. IIRC, they have some kind of daily limit even for those manual transfers, but it's way higher than e.g. the SEPA limit.

The emergency wire will still take several weeks to be processed.

I do not really believe Gox can run with their customers' money, so as long as they're making shitloads of cash every day (from trading fees) I wouldn't be too worried. I only have about 1k eur at gox personally, though.

I currently have funds stuck in mt gox.

When I first got in to this bitcoin thing, I did not trust them with my personal information, and used an incorrect birthdate intentionally. They took my money and trading was ok. Now I have decided that they are trustable, and I have sent my verification documents. But the documents show my real date of birth....

Because of the mismatch the verification has been rejected twice. There is no place in the mt gox interface where I can correct my account DOB myself, and there is no way I can attach a note about it with the verification request to explain. I have opened 2 support tickets, which take weeks to get a response. One finally got a response and the response ended up being "we have forwarded your request to the AWL team" - and without getting a personal email or a new reference number to be able to track it further. I have posted for more updates, with no reply. It has now been weeks again. Without verification I can not even withdraw funds as bitcoin to my own wallet, which I would like to do.

I have called the phone number in another thread here out of desperation, but I found that number never was for mt gox, and its some japanese IT company. The girl I spoke too must get lots of calls for mt gox and she told me "we are not mt gox, you need to email them".

Any ideas what I can do? They have my money and there seems I am at the mercy of them to fix my accounts DOB to get it back. In reality the verification team only needs to look at the documents, know what happened and update the account with the correct details then approve me - a simple and logical fix to a simple problem.

I can send more support requests or click verify documents again, but it is only wasting my time and theirs. I think that if I could call a support agent and explain, they should be able to update my account on the spot and problem solved.

Is there a priority support line or way to escalate the problem?

Why run with clients money when you can just sit in your office with clients money? How much USD worth of pending withdrawals dating back as early as August 2013 do you think they're sitting on?

Support people, including the chief of support (during Japanese working hours (which are 7 AM to 11 PM Tokyo time, it seems)), hangs around in #mtgox on freenode.  The AML line is long at the moment, so there may be a couple of weeks until they will have another look at your case.

Sorry to hear that. But in some software DOB is considered as key element like username. False DOB information might breach the T&C of the service. If you can ignore the fee to transfer BTC, I wonder why don't you create a new account with correct DOB and request verification. That is proper procedure thus faster than irregular operation.
