In the last days (weeks?) the difference between gox and bitstamp was ~10..11%,
it is now down to ~5% for roughly 20hrs. Any news?
Where have you been the last week?  People have moved from Bitstamp to BTC China.  Where the action is.  People buy BTC at Bitstamp to move to BTC China to trade there.

I buy with EUR and other currencies at a fair market price when you want to sell.  See http://bitmynt.no/eurprice.pl
Warning: "Bitcoin" XT, Classic, Unlimited and the likes are scams. Don't use them, and don't listen to their shills.
Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!

So my question is still unanswered: Why would anyone transfer money to MtGox to buy Bitcoin - when they can get Bitcoins at any other exchange for ~20$ less?
They don't, that's why Gox' market share is fading away. The fiat that's still being traded over there is probably "old" money for the largest part.
I know. In fact everybody knows. Question is: Why does sturle deny this?
WTF?  Where have I denied this?

I have just stated a couple of facts.  Like the fact that MtGox has a larger market share than Bitstamp, except for short bursts of volume at Bitstamp.  This still holds.  It holds for every listed time period at bitcoinity.

But the fact that you are a pathetic MtGox sock puppet has relevance to the topic of this thread.
It is not a fact.  It is a lie, and you know it.

As we can deduce from the post above, you clearly have a few problems with your senses.  You probably see ducks everywhere.

Sturle, please try to ignore insults from people like Frizz23 or at least answer all their funny arguments in one post per day. I know it's not your fault at all, but I guess asking the others to shut up is not worth the time. The more attention they get, the more they will post.

I guess those people hanging around here just because they have no other place to be, just seem more present, because they have time to write a lot of posts.

If you still sale on MtGox even if you know withdrawal takes up to 2 months it's your fault.
Take the lower price on other exchanges if this is a problem for you. You all know that since months.

Beside withdrawal the support is very friendly and fast (I got Trusted (now Premium) status and the Yubi-Key within a few days.)
I'm not affiliated with gox, just my opinion and experience with them.

Quote
and your account has been upgraded to a Premium account (This is the new name of the "Trusted" status).
The new word for trusted status (where you have to send them a notarized copy of your ID and utility bill with an apostille). This makes it possible to withdrawal up to 100k per day. See https://support.mtgox.com/entries/21651045-AML-Account-Statuses

AHH Okay thanks. I thought it was just Verfieid then Trusted. Back when I sent in docs, there was no premium status.

My withdraw limit is 100k a day though.

10k EUR SEPA withdrawal from 16.9.2013 changed state to pending today...
Yay!  A new data point, and it means the queue is moving faster again.  I was worried it would grow to more than six weeks since it took so long getting past the 13th.  Let's hope the queue shortens a bit the following week, because I fear there will be another speed bump when the payments reaches the end of the first week of October.
