If you submit a withdraw from MtGox and let's say the price is at $500 and they don't "process" your withdraw until 2-4 weeks later, at what price are you being locked into? Are you being locked into the price on the day you initiated the withdraw, or on the day that the actual withdraw takes places.
This is a no-brainer.  You are locked to the price which you chose to sell your BTC for.  There is no "withdraw BTC as fiat" option.  MtGox will not reduce your amount if fiat if the price is lower than it was when you chose to sell.

I buy with EUR and other currencies at a fair market price when you want to sell.  See http://bitmynt.no/eurprice.pl
Warning: "Bitcoin" XT, Classic, Unlimited and the likes are scams. Don't use them, and don't listen to their shills.

I have $4101 in my account but I can't request a withdrawal for any amount (the page says I have exceeded my limits or don't have enough funds). I have never requested a withdrawal before and my account is verified, am I missing something?
yes... u r missing the fact that mtgox doesn't process any withdrawals.
One thing is not processing or taking forever to do so, and a different one is not alowing me to even request a withdrawal
Did you change your password recently?  There is a 24 hour withdrawal hiatus after password reset for security reasons.  It is in a FAQ somewhere..

Nope, it has been at least a month. I have sent a support ticket but no reply yet.

How long does it take Mt. Gox to cancel a withdrawal request?  Really want to get my money out but they aren't responding very quickly.

It took around 2 working days to cancel my withdraw request. That was in October 2013.

im thinking of transferring btc to gox from stamp to take advantage of the price jump. then selling and withdraw but nervous about the time delay it would take for eu bank transfer. its about 2k, anyone do the same recently? any hints on how to speed it up like making 4 withdraws of 500 or would it not help?

So no way to get fiat or BTC out of MtGox? Is Mtgox really a one-way street?

When was the last time anyone sent btc out of mtgox and received confirmation? How long did it take?

I sent some BTC out about 8 hours ago, still no sight of them. Both my client and blockchain explorer show no transaction for the address used, but BTC already deducted from my mtgox account.

At this point I would be happy to wait 2-3 weeks and even pay the fee... but MtGox still doesn't let me request a withdrawal nor do they answer my support requests

Pretty sure no USD or swift withdrawals of any kind for the past few months. Small quantities of EUR arrive in European bank accounts via SEPA with massive delay (6 weeks give or take). Those with JPY accounts in Japan have had a bit better luck. Fortunately the decentralized method of moving money seems to work just fine still.

Just got another USD Swift withdrawal from mtgox (to a US bank). This was paying the 5% currency conversion fee charged by their japanese bank, and it took WAY more than a week this time, more like 3-4 weeks.

Was this a small or large amount? Small amounts seem to go through at the moment.

On: https://support.mtgox.com/entries/21649594-Withdrawals-and-Deposits

It states: "Due to the volume of withdrawals requests, each customer is currently only allowed 1 withdrawal every 20 days (estimate)"

What does that estimate mean?

And: "Situation as of 19 November 2013: We are currently processing withdrawals requested six weeks ago. (Users with several withdrawals in the queue must take the 20 day rule above into account)"

I think this was eight weeks last time i checked. Are they catching up?
