I made a withdrawal to BTC-e (address 16JL7nVLna21T1BhhK3BnYeEeUP6V1jCic )and received a confirmation email over 3 hours ago, but according to blockchain this address has not been used on the network.

Anyone else having issues? (and yes I have messaged chat support, just waiting for a reply)

I made a withdrawal from Gox 5 or 6 hours ago, also to a BTC-E address, but it didn't yet show up on the blockchain and it isn't received at the deposit address yet. Sent the Gox team an email.

I've been appreciating the updates from others waiting for withdrawals in this thread, and I am delighted to finally be able to return the favour  Tongue. I received a >3000 EUR SEPA withdrawal today (2013-11-26) which was requested 2013-10-17.

I made a withdrawal of 1.1 BTC to my blockchain wallet more than 24 hours ago. There was no option anymore, the 0.001 (almost $1) fee was automatically included. It has not shown on the blockchain, not even unconfirmed with the txid they gave me a161804df1d05390d48e22d059379a17faa597b76d9e269fe1521b03b4fe6775.

I opened a ticket, but I can only imagine how long that will take them to get to. I may just stop using them altogether. As ti is, I only deposit BTC in there to arb from other exchanges and peg the funds in USD, but even at 20%, it is not worth it if large transactions just go missing.

How long it may take I just hope we get our BTC in the end. I already missed todays 'fontas pump' on btc e because of this Sad

Still nothing from my June and July withdrawal. I think I'm about to suck it up, take my cash, and buy in at $800 at essentially 1/8 my original Bitcoins sold. Lesson learned, never use Gox again.

As much as i would encourage anybody to buy BTC instead of selling them, you *could* try to cancel the withdrawals and try them again using the international wire fee. I don't trade USD but from reactions here it seems people have had some success that way.

Check again, $960 on Gox now.
They have inadvertently crucified their customers who accepted the TwoWeeksTM mantra.

That's what I meant as in "take my cash," canceling my withdrawal, but I'd still be forced to transfer to the US via my bank. This lesson cost as much as a Lexus, heh.

Amazed by how people still tries to cash out using MtGox.

I didn't see any report of somebody successfully cashing out a significant amount of USD in months.

You might think that those who succeeded keep a low profile, but given the amount of fuss I'd expect somebody reporting successful withdrawals, as I did myself in July.

IMO this rally may give them additional fuel, but they are on the brink of something very bad. Too many months of obvious illiquidity.

Mt. Gox is on my shit-list for being deceitful, but I don't see that the failure to produce international wires in USD is necessarily 'obvious illiquidity.'  Could be, but an equally or more viable hypothesis to me is that they just don't have access to the U.S. banking system.

It is abundantly clear that you are completely right that nobody who actually needs USD should try to use Mt. Gox.  To bad Mt. Gox cannot be straight-up in providing their customers with such information though.  That they are not is the actually kind of lends strength to the hypothesis that they are having some sort of issues whereby they need to raise capital.  Deceiving customers like me is a sure-fire way to guarantee that they won't be seeing my business again.

are they scammers? ABSOLUTELY NO!

as far as i know, there hasn't been a single loss of customers BTCs or fiat.

Well they haven't exactly paid a lot of it out either, so what's the difference then?

There are huge delays for SEPA (EUR) transfer too, I experienced that myself as I had to wait +4 weeks until I decided to cancel and cash out BTC.

Bitstamp has no problems and funds move in a matter of 1/2 days despite of having seen exponential growth too. In fact their actual volume is very similar of the one Gox had just before they started to have problems.

Everything points to a liquidity problem for Gox. Is 2+2.

Was my post useful to you?  Tips graciously received!

Does someone in Japan, with a Japanese bank account, have some advantage in withdrawing from Mt. Sucks? Forgive me for not reading the entire thread ... it is looooong, and full of horror stories around wire transfers/SEPA/BTC withdrawals.

It sounds like wait times have not improved?

How are withdrawals working for those withdrawing to a Japanese bank account?

Thanks all!

Same with mine. I made some more withdrawals today that went through, but the original one is lost in space.
