Since the 1gh pond has been closed, there is only a CC pool. Unfortunately, there is no normal mining now. Does anyone else make a pool and compile the code?

I think that if it is an attack, there is an anonymous one, which always connects several times with the same nickname, and this in suprnova is not allowed, the nickname can not be repeated, besides since this user has connected several times to the pool , Began the problems again, Ociminer. One question, I know that the suprnova pool does not allow the same user to connect multiple times, nor do two users have the same nickname, who is this user that appears several times mining: anonymous, because I have mined in suprnova and do not You can use the same nickname of another person

ocminer, can we talk about this problem with xcn by email? nskadmin@ngs.ru
pallas, this is your project! very good coin, but not good software (wallet). it need to update.
some exchange delete`s coin, because wallet not updated and it have some problems with performance (and security, as I understand). you can`t update code in wallet?
I don`t know OOP style (badly for me), only old liner C style. no one want to help. then, you need to code your self.
sorry for my bad English...
I think, in the coming days XCN will be removed from last exchange, then, coin will be dead... sadly!

I see three functional exchanges with XCN, one of the ones that has more movement is not in btc, it's something else

You should read some pages of this and the original thread, so you'd get to know the long history of cryptonite. TLDR: it's the opposite: coin was dying and me, along with the community, made an effort to keep it alive. Judging from the current price and daily volume (more than 1000 btc) I think I can say that we succeeded.

Dude, I`m not a Judging you or something else, but i try to explain my point of view:
1. XCN very interesting coin (by my thinks) and I read some old post`s from old thred. As I know, xcn have software problems from first`s day`s, as you can see - cryptopia not accepted coin because  soft problems. at  this moment last 3 exchanges we have and 1 (nova) not work with coin, because soft problems. can you say, when last 2 exchanges close work with coin? not, you can`t. but soft problems still have.
2. only one pool and work not stable. solo minig is very hard. if you have power < 1 - 2gh you can`t find any blocks.
3. volumes? you see this volumes? btc38 have 100% volume for sale. how many percents for buy on bter? all volumes only for down coin price and this price seeks to zero.
but as I say, this coin interesting for me and many peoples. need to software update (and may be not only software).

this is to avoid exhausting the extranonce1 field.
potentially you can massively reduce a pool's ability to find a block by grabbing as many as you can (as they are unique for each miner, won't get handed out to the next etc).
to be fair its actually a massive flaw in the stratum mining protocol, assigning extranonce1 first before validating username..

If there was a severe problem with the wallet, the coin would not have lasted 3 years and a half. Surely it's not perfect, it's the price to pay for innovation. This is not the usual copy paste of bitcoin, like most of the scam coins out there. And bitcoin is not perfect either.
Having said that, we are working both on the pool and on the wallet. This will fix the remaining issues. It takes time because most of us are using (part) of our free time. Stay tuned.

suprnova is unstable. Some rigs can log in, another fail to connect for a long time. Thanks anyways, OCminer for you work!

meanwhile i´m still trying to solo mine... but i cant find a console command to confirm my hashrate is doing its work. Any help would be appreciated. I´ve read many pages back, but i´m stuck with this. (wallet synced ok, conf ok, miner works... but is it mining ok?)

The only way is finding blocks. There are no quick-to-find shares like in a pool: the wallet doesn't know anything about the speed of the miner until it submits enough blocks over time. Which may mean days, depending on your hashrate.

there's a limit of 10 connections per IP due to the ddos attacks, maybe you're trying to connect more than 10 times from the same ip ?
