There is a BTC address in my signature, but that is another thing.
You could buy xcn on bx, or wait for BTC38 or novaexchange.

Any news about the wallet sync issue fix? I have same issue pallas, If I sync from 0 all goes smooth and it sync fast enough, but if i close wallet and start it next day is takeing ages to sync,   is like 1 block every 2-3 sec (also the connections drop from 8 to 1-2 and even 0)0

That is due to two things: "full block sync too slow" and "too low peer timeout": it disconnects peers too easily, leaving you without connections, and sync stops.
I will study the former but the latter is already fixed in git. I will ask bitfreak to make a new windows build.
Anyways, you can avoid the issue altogether by opening the port on your router (or by using UPNP).

Novaexchange wallet is up and running, they just need to support the "ep" amounts in their api, then it's ready to be listed :-)

FYI: http://cryptonite.info/wiki/index.php?title=Cryptonite_API (see bottom of the page)

Draft of the bounties, please comment.

- build a faucet [10.000 XCN]
- add richlist and other features to the block explorer [from 40.000 XCN]
- build a new pool [60.000 XCN]
- make full block download faster (it takes about a second to get and insert a new block into the database; make it at least 2x faster)  [100.000 XCN]
- find and fix any *eventual* "sync from scratch" bug left, especially related to the trie sync [100.000 XCN]
- mobile wallet [120.000 XCN]

Those are to be discussed and not definitive yet.

Good!
But profit calculation is some orders of magnitude too low.

Sounds good.
Maybe should add an AMD miner? I could not find one that works, claymore is locked on only 2 pools, and those are long gone.

sorry for a dumb question. Does Cryptonite uses the same codebase as bitcoin?

Yes, but there are many modifications and enhancements.
See the OP and the website for details.

Thanks for clarification, I'll do my research now Smiley

When btc38 opens the wallet and the price on the exchanges evens out, the amount will be more than fair I think Smiley

P.S. Pallas I highly recommend to set up Twitter account and post news/updates there as well. There's a huge userbase on Twitter - good way to spread the word. All cryptocurrencies have twitter accounts.

I support the idea about the twitter account. We really need it.
About the amounts, i don't know the market, i guess we will see if people are interested.
And i am ready to pay extra for a good AMD miner, i have only amd's and can not mine xcn now.

I updated the first post with the fund and bounty information.
I think we should advertise the bounties a bit. I know you guys are very good at that :-)
About twitter, I agree with you, but I'm pretty bad at the task, some volunteers?

Was "inactive" yesterday.
Now status is "Active(testing)"
I think after test it's over we will have the right numbers.

I asked bitfreak about the official twitter account.
Meanwhile we can use any other account to do promotion (bounties, etc.)

Thanks!
