Why people are still buying BTC?

Hello guys,

To me, it seems pretty strange that people actually continues buying btc now...
I understood why they wanted to invest in btc before, after the Chyprus crisis, and all the articles in the media. But now?

I don't get it.


Bitcoin is useless, and will most likely never be used as a currency. I spent hours trying to get my first bitcoins (satoshi actually), and after working for ages, I only got 0.002 btc, which does not even allow me to proceed to a transaction (the fees are higherthan that amount  ). When you compare it with CC or paypal, it seems that they are free to use in comparison! Not to mention the time required to actually proceed to a transaction which can be anything between 1 minute and ... 1 year (or more?).

The only possible reason I see people are buying btc is that they (truly) believe that the price will increase, and want to make more profit. I think that 99.99 % of the bitcoins exchanged are never withdrawn from the exchangers, and the people are only waiting to make some profits. What makes them believe that the price will rise? Because the amount of bitcoins is limited? Because lost coins can never be recovered? I have no clue.


An other problem is the "mining" part. Soon, the difficulty will increase, CPU and GPU mining will be useless. People will stop mining bitcoins and try LTC or something easy to get... The interest in btc will decrease.


Other issues:
- security. Not a single company was able to provide a "professional" service. Bitcoin-24 has a serious problem ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=174600.0 ). Even mtgox was critized for the lags, problems with missing coins, money, delay, and so on ... The hacks are countless (you can see new topics about that every day ...).


I can't see anything positive about btc, and still can't get why people are buying it. Can any captain obvious explains? Thanks.

I believe bitcoin can still increase and from that I can benefit. Bitcoin is more enduring and to avoid the risk I believe in bitcoin.

Their reason may be their chance to buy it, because bitcoin prices are low and they buy as much as they can afford to invest.
Bitcoin can still be trusted because they believe bitcoin will definitely rise from adversity and believe in the coming months bitcoin will rise again.

I think that is their strategy in doing some profits,  Buying btc in low price and selling it in high price will give them profits,  they think that its never too late to buy btc they trusted the coin that much.

Why not, people still buy bitcoin because now bitcoin price it is cheap. And they still believed if bitcoin price will rise again one day.

It is simply because they are the true believer and supporters of bitcoin and they really trust it's platform and it's system so even it experiencing a lot of downfall they still believe that it will making it's way to rising up again therefore it's continuously makes benefits and opportunities to us..Another reason is they want to earn huge profit by just buying it and holding for longterm because they see a lot of potiential in bitcoin. Thats why many people still buying bitcoin.

Why do people still buy bitcoins !?

Hmm .. The instant answer we often hear is: Because people still believe the price will go up, because more people come to speculate, that this is a big-time cukong game, and so forth.

I'm sure it's true, but most people do not see a simple reason beyond the reason for the conspiracy theory, that many people buy bitcoin is simply, and that's because it takes. Need what? Not yet many businesses that receive bitcoin as a means of payment? That transaction cost is now too high for that.

Remember that bitcoin has been transformed as the new tax haven. Where people can safely save money, free from government and tax officials, can not be frozen by anyone, can be availed in almost all countries with relatively minimal transaction costs.

Many factors are the background for people to buy Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is one of the highest priced coins.
This is the biggest reason people want to buy Bitcoin.
Bitcoin also has the potential for a bubble with a high enough amount.
Therefore many people are interested in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a future money that has many advantages over ordinary fiat money, And in bitcoin we will easily benefit. because we can make investments, trade, and so forth. Maybe that is one reason why they are still buying Bitcoin until now.

I believe that bitcoin is a promising coin and can give much profit, and in the first place it is the strongest crypto currency in a crypto world because it is still the most profitable coin for long term holding as they already see the highest price. I'm sure will be more people knows bitcoin and will be more see clearly and closer on bitcoin over all the advantages and benefits, because anyhow.

Yes they are sure about growth of bitcoin and it will grow for sure, now bitcoin is increasing in price and it will be high in future, people have faith for bitcoin that it can make their life better which is entirely true bitcoin has much potential to change our life and make us earn high profit after every investment, as can save our future with bitcoin if we hold it with patience for long time, for me bitcoin is more than anything else so I will keep on buying it.

Yes bitcoin price is going to high and that's why many people want to invest their a lot of money because they know it will very profitable for them and their future will more secure and that's why many of people hold their a lot of money in bitcoin for the future.

They invested their money on it. And when the price down comes they see it as a good chance to buy at low price. They think in a positive way and trusted bitcoin that much thats why they still buying even it has a dump price and waiting for its come back.

That's a mean reason why they still buying bitcoin because they expext what will happen in the future if they didn't follow what successful do, so they buy also ( including me ) 'cause when the price got increase they gain a profit from it. now prices are declining. of course people are interested in being able to buy bitcoins on a large scale to hold them. they are also still convinced of bitcoin that the price will stay up later.

The main reason of course is feeling that the current price is cheaper and bitcoin potentially immediately skyrocket, I'm sure that buying now will make us get big profit so we become successful and rich.

Well for me, I think its just because bitcoin is the only crypto that is safe well established easy to obtain and profitable. The bitcoin system's very secure, wich the unsafe is the user and the money exchanger. You can get bitcoin by buying and mining. I see from the media developments that cover the enthusiasm will bitcoin everywhere will create a very high demand. Although bitcoin often decreases, its value continues to grow from year to year.
