I prefer to Hold on the Bitcoins that I have, same with the ETH as I see Bitcoins still going up and it may look today that there's a sudden dip in the rate but it's normal for Bitcoin to change its direction. It seems that there is currently a slight drop in confusing bitcoin prices which could lead to a slightly panicked price reduction, I think now is the right time to buy bitcoin as a future investment.

If there will be a bitcoin price increase of course this is the right time to buy a lot of bitcoin at a cheap price. If the decline continues then this is a thing to be regretted, with all the speculation that can happen then bitcoin should have a positive impact because some decisions should increase the bitcoin price. All is sometimes not in accordance with the prediction. Everything is beyond our expectations  .

yes i also prefer to hold, holding bitcoin in present time is more profitable. i think the price is now trading a little low but it does not mean that we should start panic selling, we need to give more support to bitcoin so that its price again its previous position. i am hopeful that very soon the price of bitcoin will recover its position and we will see the price of bitcoin to cross 3000 $ once again and hope that this time it will not come back from that position.

I don't really think anyone would be panic selling at this time with their btcs. Most btc holders are aware that for real profits, it has to be a long term deal. So i'm pretty sure that like me, the recent price drop only gave us opportunity to stock up more btcs

Well this has happened before and it's part of the tide that we all must ride. I think it's advisable to hold now and buy some more btc while and take advantage of this opportunity of price drop for when btc recovers, the price may go up faster than we anticipate

Based on the information from twitter I got, the end of this year BTC will return to the top. This is good news.
More confident to continue holding BTC for the next few months.

In trading how do you know if it is time to still hold or is it the right time to sell? Do you go buy your profit margin  or actually wait for the highest possible peak?
For example if you're earning like 10% of your investment, would you just sell or would you be interested in waiting and seeing if it goes more up so you could earn more, in doing that its possible that it may go down and you then earn like 5-8%
But what is your process in this? How do you go about hold and sell timings?

Every man has different strategy in trading. Long term holding always positive every holders. Surely there make a chance get good profit at the end. About altcoin trding you should have experienced and skilled both of quality to hold it or sell it. Choose yourself, actually what you have want to done.

What to do when in doubt?
In the end often regret and impatient. It is very difficult to control such emotions. Hard to resist to sell and difficult to analyze whether this coin is good to sell or hold.

I always believe in long term holding because over time it will accumulate profit but that is, if you believe also that you bought the right coin for holding. In 1 to 3 years it should have increase your profit very nicely. Even if bitcoin is experiencing a price turmoil nowadays from hitting the 3K back to 2400 per US$ and still going down, it will still get its rebound so no need to worry that it can melt your investment like that.. maybe its just testing your patience and endurance.

I agree with your statement and if you really wanted to sell wait for a big spike in the price than for it to fall. It almost always rebounds very soon after a correction.

i currently holding bitcoin and not going to sell. in act i have invested my money for long term and not gong to sell it so soon. i will wait for some more years  because i know that bitcoin has a very good and bright future and hope that after some years the price of bitcoin will be so much high and will give me a good profit that will really too much helpful for me in controlling my financial problems.

Dust already settled. On the way to recovery now. I hope every one did not sell their bitcoin or alt coins during the crash. So for me, the best option is still not to sell, because if you did then to profit really big amounts will be missed. I recommended to few friends to buy bitcoin when it reached €2k and the price within a day or two has been increased for 10% which they are very thankful to me. So I would say to those that are trying people to sell their coins for no reason, we are here to risk when we are holding so don't expect to become rich when you wake up in the next morning.

Yes that is really a very good chance for the buyers to buy bitcoins at lower price. I also spend some of my money on it and bought and within a day a got a good profit with that investment as now the price increased a little and I hope that I will get more profit in the future.

Yes just always remember to buy in dips or in a lower price than the current price now because that is how they will make profits by buying low and selling high. Even though the price of bitcoin now is high they can still buy but make sure that they will hold it for long term because long term is the best investment type for bitcoin as of now.

That's correct most of the people gets panic when they see price dropping and start selling their coins at a cheaper price and to make profits from bitcoins you need to have a great level of patience so even if price goes down you should hold your coins tight and wait for the right time to sell your coins then only you will be making profits out of it.

Indeed, its up to you on what will you do with your bitcoin wether sell it or hold. It is depend on our strategies that we think is more capable  to give a profit. However, in my case I much prefer both... I want to hold it because there's a possibility that it will pump soon into enormous price and yet I'd like to run my bitcoin so that while waiting for the big pump I have income.
