Today I have sold most of bitcoin on my wallet and left only altcoin. Price not always be above as now, i will buy back when bitcoin has decreased slightly. That way, amount bitcoin i have can be more.

How if bitcoin rises more than now? A lot of people predict if bitcoin will be rises to $4000 or even $5000. Too bad you have sold almost all of your bitcoin.

Those who have sold their precious bitcoins in pressure or panic must be regretting their decisions.
I believe that it is never good and wise to leave bitcoins even when they are in the dumping phase. Besides now bitcoins definitely are going to reach 4k dollars.

Weak hands always sold  their bitcoin when there is a panic sell. But for those who are not shaken, they would just hold on their precious bitcoin and not be affected by the price decrease. Right now, the chances of bitcoin going to $3500-$4000 is at the front view now. So for those who have sold already, I think they are regretting their decision of letting go of their precious bitcoin. Although you can almost buy back, the current price is too high and you need to wait for it to get a major correction or dump before you can get stash again. So the lesson here is just to hold on it for long time because for sure you will be rewarded bigtime.

That's right, i have the same experience with you, but i think it's better to hold it for now, because a while ago the bitcoin price is weak enough but now it's already back increase and it seems will keep moving upwards.

Yeah that is why a lot of people says that bitcoin will reach 5k at the end of the year, because there are to many emotions on the charts, and that makes people to keep buying, when a drop happens, it will be a huge drop because people will think its over, that happens everytime.
Just keep holding and you will succes, just the same as has been happening for years with bitcoin.

The fact is price starts falling then there would be many people who will get panic and will start selling their coins at lower price but that is the time when you need to have faith in bitcoins and hold your coins tight as price can recover once again in future.

If you need money and if you are making good profits at current price then you can sell some of your bitcoins and if you are hoping to make even higher profits then better to hold it till the end of the year as price can go to $5k in this year.

You can sell if the price has gone higher then your entry price as only holding will never give you an chance of making profits and if you are expecting to make higher profits then better to hold it and sell as soon as it reaches to your expected price.

Holding and sell at right situation is the only best move.Hold your bitcoin till it reaches the moon .Day before yesterday the price reaches near to 3500 $.Like that if it's reached peak means not even think for a second. Just sell the entire coin which you had.

You can sell if the price has gone higher then your entry price as only holding will never give you an chance of making profits and if you are expecting to make higher profits then better to hold it and sell as soon as it reaches to your expected price.

Many investors do so. They buy a coin, set a goal, which they are ready to sell, and then sell as soon as the coin rises to the right price. This is a good strategy, especially if you count it with the purchase strategy during the price drop

If you don't want to take any risk of investing your bitcoins then the best thing would to hold your coins and wait for the price to go higher and you can sell them only when its giving you best profits and if not continue to hold as there is no risk in holding bitcoins longer.

If you don't want to take any risk of investing your bitcoins then the best thing would to hold your coins and wait for the price to go higher and you can sell them only when its giving you best profits and if not continue to hold as there is no risk in holding bitcoins longer.

That is correct holding bitcoin is good because we all know that value will continue to increase but me i do trading in bitcoin to fiat which i take the advantage on every little dump of its price and i can say that it was a big help to increase my bitcoin.

I really like the idea of having a target in mind as already mentioned. Don't beat yourself up if it goes higher - you made your target!

I however am very new with a very small amount of BTC. I'm just playing around with some small amounts of altcoin and selling if theres even only a little % increase. Makes it less scary whilst I get the hang of things!

Well, selling it might look good up until now, and it's not a disadvantage. But, at the end of every year, bitcoin prices always go up, I advise to keep it until the end of the year, but selling it now is okay, because the price is also very high.
