This is without any significant advertising being done right now. I haven't been advertising much because I'm waiting on the site re-design, translations and android wallet - all of which are coming very soon.

I imagine once those are done, and then I launch a serious ad campaign, price could easily go back to $10

Again though, I am more interested in the longterm health of the coin, rather than temporary price swings. I wasn't concerned when the price was $0.50 and I'm not elated now that the price is $1.37 .. this is all very normal for a new coin, and should be ignored by longterm investors.

I just downloaded the torcoin client for windows but when I extracted the zip file from this link https://torcoin.org/TorCoinWindows1.0.zip my anti-virus detected it as a threat/malware. BTW I'm using eset nod32(obviously as see in the screenshot). Does anyone experience this? or it's really okay to proceed? (I can't install it so my answer is not)

Yes, I had the same problem, just add the folder to the list of exceptions, worked for me.

I had no time to look through all of the posts, however, I have a question. A very crucial and basic one and I've found no information related to it neither on your website nor in here. I've been working on incentivising data exchange using cryptocurrencies for past 3 years. We will be presenting an implementation here soon. Would you please describe to me, how do you incentivise the data exchange in Tor network. How do you reward TOR node operators? do you reward them for the ammount of data they help to disseminate or for what. thank you.

Let me allow for a short intro: I've found this post due to a periodic check of what is going on in the field. In short: It will wipe away TOR:P so no point in having fun with TOR, let TOR-related coins alone. Now. In the first post OP wrote: " TorCoin rewards people for running a TOR node". I guess it should be spelled Tor if he or she refers to the Tor project (onion routing), this coin seems to reassemble their logo so I think I might be right. What does this 'coin', this project, have to do with Tor node operators. Be precise please. And why would a Tor node WANT to have more users? Every new user brings a burden to a Tor relay node. do you have any knowledge on how Tor network operates?
