hey guys, how far along would you say you all are on a plan for scaling the infastructure of this coin? not just in terms of technology, but building a team and getting institutional backing. it seems all top coins have a pretty professional infastructure, and i'm curious as to how you guys are going to approach this.

You know what IF you claim to know so much about top coins and profession infrastructure then why do you use a newbie account? Dude use your real one. Newbies have no right to direct any direction of a project.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

The coin is a few weeks old and you are asking about institutional backing. Even if you werent just another sock puppet that would be the stupiest question ive ever heard.

Considering you personally guaranteed XBY would be top 20 by summer I don't see how a question about plans for scaling, building a team and obtaining backing would seem stupid?

The question was not about scaling in tech terms but about professional infrastructure whatever that means. Teams are building built not. Join the slack. Backing? No idea what you mean. If people and companies use the tech later then cool but unless you have a crystal ball no one call tell.

Just wanted to say Im getting pretty tired of some of the bullshit on this thread.

Simply, the coin is stable, holding its price in relation to BTC in these times of 'bullish' behaviour.

Its a good coin, Dev team need to keep doing the good work.

If I hear the word sockpuppet one more time Im gona start using the word 'wanksock' to describe the cheerleaders who are filling this thread with complete bullshit.

Thanks

No doubt your post will get deleted like many of mine do for "breaking community rules"

It seems any sort of truth speak breaks the rules!

Serious investors are here for news, not cheerleaders.

As simple as that

Heres my recent ones that got removed for "breaking the community rules"

------------------------------------------------

1. What development are we currently waiting on now in terms of getting the nodes activated?

2. We have no real timeline? We're waiting for testing to finish?

------------------------------------------------

I'll let everyone else decide for themselves if these are serious points for discussion or just "non-sense"

So guys, what development are we currently waiting on in terms of getting the nodes activated?

If the sidechain is now active separate from the main chain as previously stated.

Are we just waiting on borzalom to finish testing of the sidechain? If not, would it be possible to get a rough timescale of when the testing of the new sidechain is likely to be finished, whether that be weeks or months?

It will be done when it's done...no timeline nor deadlines as those never work out in crypto and are never met...it'll only cause grief and anger if it's not met.

Timelines and deadlines are there to entice hyper before news for a quick pump then a sell off after news is released like people buying alts think their actual traders with buy the rumor sell the news lol...

It would just be nice to get at least an update of:

-Yes the testing is going well and (x), (x) and (x) have been coded succesfully or,
-No, the testing is having minor issues with (x) and borz is currently working this with confidence in resolving the issue

-------------------------------------

At the moment we are all literally just in limbo, all we have to show is an modified BitcoinCore wallet to allow for node registration.

Not even a glimpse of workable code, or the ability to aid in reviewing or helping with the coding.

I really really do wish the best for this coin, admittedly like most people involved here, in terms of my own financial benefit, but also to the benefit and improvement to the cryptocurrency scene in general...

The PoSignature concept seemingly to me is a realistic method for workable code... in theory... and would be a major step forward in the cryptocurrency scene compared to the current tech if successful.

If its a scam, then oh well im not going to cry about it, but if its not, then why are the more involved people (ccrevolution, borzalom) in this project not providing the simplest of information in regards of updates to the userbase/ investors.

I see plenty of previous posts from CCrevolution claiming to be busy, and on with many things, but fails to provide any further information on what he is specifically busy with, and with no progression being made, or improvement announcements, what is he actually busy with?

What do you think is going on then? There is a dev team and this team is getting bigger every day to get certain aspects of the project done faster. Why would they ask people to work on wallets (complete redesign), to work and vote on projects when they are scamming? Why spend so much time on gathering a good team and a strong community if it's all bullshit?

Why let everyone in your kitchen when your secret and game-changing recipe isn't even finished yet? Would you let people watch you code the most secure and crypto-world-changing project? That would be the most foolish 'YES' that you could give.

Perhaps people should watch this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0esBqUXO00

Of course haters gonna hate.. Jealousy and nothing else to do...
There's always going to be some trolls and leeches around that will try to make us doubt in this project..
Be patient Smiley
Anyways.. either someone believe in it or not, it's individual choice.. but if someone have something against it then just leave and don't talk about it..
Easy right?

Time goes by too fast... Can anyone slow down the clock? Cheesy

Last night we finalized a vote with the STaTiC Club Members and I posted a video in the Slack. This was a very important milestone that we reached and it showed how much the community cares about their company and coin: XtraBYtes.

If you wish to watch the video message, I will post it below. In general we have come to an agreement that the STaTiC Owners will redirect 64% of their SHOCK rewards to the XtraBYtes Development Fund from the time the STaTiC chain comes online, until the moment that we start selling STORAGE (our first saleable service). Beyond that point, since we expect revenues to increase steadily, the amount of SHOCK rewards redirected to the Development Fund will be reduced to just over 8%.

In the mean time, anyone who wishes to contribute directly to the Community Fund (this is currently the Development Fund) you can do so by sending your XBY to this address: BLocksFEE4ProofofSignatureXXYF3VQ3

Please watch the video for more details:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0esBqUXO00

In the mean time, Borz and I were having a discussion and he has finally gotten to the point where he was willing to put a tentative date on the Genesis block and he was kind enough to also give us a little MINI-Roadmap.

So, he must be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel now because he is totally against deadlines. So, with that said, lets just hope that everything goes smoothly and he is able to get this completed within the time frame he has give us now.

Here is a general review of his progress:

Code cleaning ( progress 80% )
Transaction structure ( progress 60% )
Block structure ( progress 20% )
Genesis block ( progress 0% ) Keep reading... the code cleaning is the problem and you will see the time frame below.
---------------- milestone checkpoint here

Blockchain structure
Chord network
---------------- milestone checkpoint here

Connect to old chain
Data conversion
---------------- milestone checkpoint here

Parallel operation of old + new chain
---------------- milestone checkpoint here

Change primary chain order
---------------- milestone checkpoint here

Remove old chain
---------------- milestone checkpoint here

Start new features development...

The first milestone checkpoint ( genesis block ) estimated time is 6-8 days from now.

Let's also keep in mind that the most challenging part of this is cleaning and reorganizing the code. Once this occurs he will be able to move much faster. I will try to get more updates from him tomorrow but he finished up this by saying the following:

I successfully compiled the code. This is the first reached milestone of the code cleaning. I removed lot of things like POW mining, target calculation etc... This was very difficult operation because the old system used these subroutines to validate blocks and transactions. Now I started adding the new things that are needed to create the genesis block. This is also very difficult because we need to develop the new transaction and block validation methods.

There is actually much more but I need to make sure I can share this because he gets very deep into what he is doing. I think it will be OK to share at least some of it, but I will verify with him first tomorrow.

So, let's revisit this again tomorrow and I am pretty sure you can hear more.

I'll stop saying sock puppets when every other post is from a newbie poster but apparently they have a complete knowledge of the crypto world and want a close source project...face palm.

And for the millionth time if you want to follow this coin closely and not ask the same fuckog question that has been answered a million times then join the fucking slack.

This guy and the newbies....  Substance in terms of development, structure and information are what will move this project up the list, people asking about these is a GOOD thing because when the answers come there will be people to notice IF you havn't frightened them all away.  I'm sorry to break this to you but your feverish hopes / dreams / faith are counterproductive and do nothing but create more friction going forward, just take a step back, gather some patience and be polite to would be investors.  The fact is you have little to show at this time, but as more trickles in you want people to be around to see it, NOBODY is interested in buying just because you want to make a million dollars from their money on ten of yours.

I don't care if you don't buy XBY, others will. Its not my problem.

And no one deleted his posts as everyone knows you can't delete unmoderated threads...the only people that can do that is bitcointalk mods and the poster himself.  What are brain damaged defending someone who is lying?
