Why do you use c=BTC?
I thought BTC is default and "c=" is for payments in other currencies.

I need think to be safe, putting c=BTC no harm done.

In fact the OP, Mr. crackfoo has suggested the same.

Also, no blanks in between commas if you need to put additional switches.

I believe in all examples I have originally seen, it showed commas.   I know other apps just want the numbers listed.

Hey guys, I have a tb85 am trying to get 6 gpu going on but every time I populate the x16 slot with riser the others are not seen. I KNOW it is something stupid in bios I am overlooking, but have been trying for a couple days now so would appreciate a little pointer. Thanks!

Are you on Windows 10?  If so, I built 2 6x470s on that Mobo recently so might be able to help.  Firstly, if you're trying it on Windows 7, I highly recommend the still free upgrade to W10.  I tried to build a few 6x rigs with W7 and was never able to get them running smoothly (or at all) with 5-6 GPUs... even after the reg-mod, etc.  Once I went to W10, absolutely NO issues with 6, except of course for the crappy updates that can't all be stopped, but I think I have mitigated that aspect for now anyway.

One thing that I have found works best is to install the 1st GPU (via riser) in that x16 slot. I have done this on both TB85 rigs as well as ASRock BTC R2 and it worked perfectly. Originally, I tried other slots first and it tended to cause problems.  I load the the first GPU to that x16 slot and have the monitor hooked up to it as well on all 4 of my rigs.  After the x16 slot, I do the first (farthest right, closet to the CPU) x1 slot, then slot 3, 4, 5 & 6 in order, one at a time.

If this doesn't work, you might want to try different risers (if you haven't already). Seems like there are a few bad batches of the molex version powered USB risers going around lately as I have like a 50% fail rate on those lately and returned most of them.  Luckily, the 6-pin PCIe versions seem to me much more stable... I am 12 for 12 on those so far.

Did you do any tinkering with UEFI (is it a UEFI install of Windows on a GPT partition?) and did you mess with PCIE version settings?  I'm on 3 with my TB85 and want to add #4 and #5, right now not running UEFI boot.   Thanks in advance!

Have you looked into mining with HDD's at all?  There is a nice little Burstcoin calculator out there, but can't seem to find anything similar for Storj?  I love the idea and think it could be big, especially with Storj's huge ICO the other day, but want to do some estimates before throwing a grand or two into harddrives.

 Be wary of the BURSTcoin calculators out there - they all underestimate the "network TB" by quite a lot, and uniformly give an estimated return that is commonly 30-50% higher than the number of coin you will mine in reality.

 I believe the issue is that the NET TB only counts whichever specific miner machine from a given person last submitted a valid deadline (for those of us that have multiple machines mining to one address) due to how the pools are built - and that machine is NOT always the highest-capacity machine a specific individual has.


 This is not to say "don't mine BURST" - it's DEFINITELY worthwhile if you have spare HD capasity you're not doing anything else with.


 Now for a scary thought - if Backblaze were to assign 4 of their "vaults" to BURST mining, running Seagate Archive 8GB drives in the pods (480 GB per pod minus RAID redundancy) they'd roughly double the network TB - and for them that would be a rather SMALL part of their total drive capacity.

after all my hyping up skein;  the hashrate on zpool has over tripled in the last week.... (just looked, actually more than 5x)  So I am glad that some people are finally coming around to seeing that everyone jumping on the same horse slows down the ride for everyone aboard.

Im curious on how profitability will flux because of the increase in hash.  I have always maintained the belief (though my own findings over the last year) that if pool hashrate grows beyond a certain point;  you don't feel the luck spikes near as much; and in the end;  overall profitability deltas down a bit.

but then again, the markets are in such a flux recently, that it's hard to distinguish ATM.  I did however love it when I was 10-30% of the pool hashrate for only 1Gh....   Those were some damned good profitable days.  And everyone was screaming about ETH and ZEC value dropping/diff rising.

DGB almost broke 1000 satoshis... which is unheard of.  a week ago it climbed to 100.....
AUR has been garnishing buy and hold support as well, so Skein keeps maintaining its high profitability.

When I start trying to max out the wattage I can safely consume at my home (power included free with my with rent), Ill be looking to underclock my machines just so I can fit more cards in play;  I think it should make it a little better to have more cards running slightly underclocked; than to have less cards running full-ham.

As a test, maybe take that 4 card rig, and split it into two instances of ccminer for 2 cards each....   I wonder if it would give you a little extra on the pool-hashrate-calculation side of things and increase profitability a little.

yeah that board can do 3x 1080 ti's and 1x 1080  but needs 2 risers.

I know what you mean, I've been waiting also to refresh all my rigs. Space/Power is limited for me so I have to go with full density all the way. If Vega doesn't turn out to be all that, then 1080's for all my rigs.

I had a chance earlier today to purchase multiple 1080's from newegg for only $369 each, but passed on that deal because Vega is sooo near!

if this is as good as the legendary MSI's 7-slot Gaming 5 older 1150-socket board... then I think we have a killer board here - a bit high end though... since you need DDR4 and 1151 CPU.

three three card  rigs  

I just bumped intensity up a notch to 26 on all three.  the i5 6400t cpus can do this  easy.

I  now do   140 core  0 memory 68% power  75% fans

7.7 to 7.9 gh for 9 1080 ti's  which is over 865 a card

The 1070 katana build is doing   some eth coin .

I am earning about 100 usd a day  on 2.3 kwatts of power

if I were all s-9's  I would have 23000 th   of hash for the same 2.3 kwatts

and I would be earning about 23 dollars a day

23 vs  100 = amazing

I think its time to keep a stash of ETHs .... at the way things are going... ETH (now 164$) ...rumored 1500 this time next year before POS thats a cool 10x.

ZEC aint too bad too at 215 bucks now.

IMHO, all this bad BIP148 talk is giving weight to the other BTC contenders especially ZEC (215$), XMR (35$), DASH (126$).

Btw, I tuned the 1080Ti and 980Ti 's Powerlimit all the way down in Afterburner -- these cards in multi-algo mode runs very very hot.

I believe in the short term ETH is a good investment; although, it will have a big drop off as soon as they stop the hard mining of ETH.   I think that a good longterm investment would be ETC.  I am invested in both.  Thanks for your insight.
