try 3.5 sols  per watt  at your worst number and 4.3 per watt as your best

for founders edition cards

do tdp 70%
core 200
ram -500
fan 75%

you will be about 690  but use less power then the aorus it kind of evens out.  and the aorus is big for a case.

Could you do the same advice for others nvidia ? especially 1070 (and 1060 if you remember the settings for it too) ?

those are FE  1080ti settings for zcash

for  a  1070 itx

tdp 70%
core 200---------  may need to go to as low as 180 if unlucky  or as high as 260 if lucky
ram -500
fan 75%

only had 1 1080  a zoac mini   it did

tdp 60-75%
core 200
ram -300
fan 75%

fe editions  have lower clocks  so + 200 core  is almost certain

I get some really efficient numbers with fe 1080 ti's doing zec

58%  tdp
195 core
-500 ram
70%

the card push 4.4 sols a watt

So for the 1080ti, im looking in the file and it looks like power limit is a wattage not a percent? novice question, but im trying to figure out what exactly i need to change

my bad you want nvOS settings I am as new as you.  but on fullzero's thread I have a discussion about 1070 cards I did 110 for each one.

with 1080ti I would try 160 for each one.  read on his thread what I did for my 1070's they run well now.

oh 1200 usd vega's  need to do 2x a 1080ti  I would get 2 if they did that.

1200-1400  sols for zec at 220 watts I am in

ASUS ROG STRIX Geforce GTX1080 Ti 11GB GDDR5X
Gigabyte GV-N108TGAMING OC-11GD GeForce GTX1080 Ti Gaming Series 11GB GDDR5X
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition , 11GB GDDR5X , iCX Cooler and LED
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Gaming Edition , 11GB GDDR5X

I am trying to decide between these 4 cards. I plan to buy two of them.  Price is all around the same as it is slim pickings in new zealand.  I already have an Aorus, I like it alot but I want to get two or three cards in one rig eventually and Aorus takes up too much space.

Any recommendations?

I might have other options but these cards I can pickup today so if there is a better recommendation than those cards please post also.

can you find  one with a blower style?

in cases blower style are better for cooling

Can get these kind.  Are they also good for open air? I looked at those two and the clock speeds are lower than the others or is that not much of an issue?  Same price all of them are within 30$ of each other really.

ASUS GeForce GTX1080 Ti Founders Edition , 11GB GDDR5X , HDMI  Have to wait 4 days to get but no drama.
EVGA GeForce GTX1080 Ti Founders Edition , 11GB GDDR5X   Can pickup 2 today.

get the evga founders   pick it up today.

Grabbed 2 1080ti.  Stock they are getting 700 zec each.  I cant adjust the TDP it doesn't show an option in MSI afterburner :/, so I cant mine as they run really hot at 100 TPD.  even with fans at 100%.  One is at 62 C and the other one which is getting air blown onto it is at 82 C. So cant mine zec at least.

How are those Zotac 1080 Ti Minis doing on Zcash/Skein?
Over at my place, they are about 14% cheaper. I am really considering them over Amp Extreme editions.

I dont own any, but someone on another forum post stated that the zotec 1080ti mini is a awesome card on the non-memory intensive algo's.... like skein, but something like eth it is on par with the numbers of a 1070 overclocked...

I am planning to use them for Zcash/Skein. Is Zpool Skein issue back to normal?
I look at site and it shows the following stats.

[24 Hours Actual]
0.00366mBTC @ USD0.04026 per GH?

Doesn't seems to be right. Am I reading it right?

i dont' give a fuck how much it cost. I'll pay 1200$ if it gave me 1200 MH/s

IDGAF if it's 120,000$ for 1 card if it have me 100k MH/s

Send it my way, you can move to the back of the line.

Has anyone tried the beta that smos put out yet? Am flashing drive now to give it a shot, just wondering if anyone else has tried it yet. Will let ya know how it goes for me.  Wink

6 x Zotac 1070 Mini, 154.xx MH, about 25.xx MH per card, 100 core/PL - no OC settings yet as Tytanick is still working on it.

Promising because it only draws 650-660watts of the wall but.... compared to Windows10, 30.xx MH per card, 181MH total but draws almost 850-950 watts.

meanwhile, this Auros beast is locked and loaded but waiting for server PSU = agony

FYI, dont make the same mistake as me.. dont use older gen XEON processors with mining, my my E5506 cpu in my latest mining rig is consuming 73 watts while running the mining software

yeah. i am switching to "t" suffix processors in miners now. like i5 6400t. "t" is the low power version of the processor, 35 watts vs 65 watts tdp.

considering most miner cpus run at near idle the power draw is even lower.

I can mine on Nicehash using ewbf just as a launcher?

Somewhere on the Nicehash website they list the urls and ports and such for their various pools.

You can't mine ZEC specifically, though, you mine the algo and then their pool bounces your miners around where needed.

I have run my A2 Scrypt farm that way at times in the past.

I just did an interesting number estimate - ETH added about 30,000 GH/s of network hashrate over the last 3 months - that's a bit over 10 MILLION RX 480/580 cards (it's actually going to be more cards than that since there are a lot of RX 470/570 cards in there that don't do 30 Mh/s and not all that many 480/580 that do, though there probably are a few folks doing silly things like using a 1080 or 1080ti that can do a bit over, and likely a few of the Fury-based duo boards that do quite a bit over).

3.3+ MILLION cards sold to miners each of the last 3 months just for ETH, as a probably conservative estimate.
No WONDER the 570/580 are in short supply.

As long as ETH profitability stays anywhere near it's current ballpark, AMD is going to be selling every card they can make at a significant markup to MSRP....

For perspective, ZEC total network hashrate can be generated by something like *1* million GTX 1070, as I recall - and I suspect all non-ETH GPU-mineable cards combined might only need 2-3 million GPUs to cover their current network hashrate.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

it is a very good mining cpu runs on z170 and on z270 boards.
