Zidane would have been a perfect choice but since he is turning down the offer even after he was offered a huge offer means he could possibly be nursing other ambitions like PSG. Manu has no other choice but to do a review on their list of options on who else would suit the Job maybe Carrick might be the next to be considered if Zidane is beyond reach

Yes, Zidane to United is a long shot at this point even Pochettino as well. But it would be really interesting if Zidane comes to manage a team like Man Utd. The premier league will be bigger than ever. I mean, we already have the likes of:

Seems like a very intense competition, when another quality manager filled up the manager MU position, The premier league become the Galacticos league in the world. Koeman coach of Manchester United? It seems like a joke, but it is quite real at the moment. There are no free trainers at the moment. Zidane and the rest of the coaches will not be coming to Manchester United mid-season, so a coach will be needed until the end of the season, and in the summer it will be possible to choose who to invite. So Koeman is a pretty realistic option at the moment.

I agree that the world of football is full of surprises, anything can happen, but many media reported that Zidane had several times turned down
offers to coach Man United. The reason is because Zidane's wife doesn't want to live in England, Veronique as Zidane's wife only allows her husband
to handle the French club or the French national team. So it is very unlikely that Zidane will accept Manchester United's offer.

That really depends on who will they replace him with. I don't see any top-class managers available, Rodgers and Zidane look like the most realistic candidates and looking at it long-term, I think neither one of them has what it takes to fix all the problems currently happening at United.

I really like Ten Hag and hope they don't go for him, last I heard was that he's happy at Ajax anyway and that he does not want to leave mid-season. United is a club that does not come for you often though, so I think they have a chance to get him. Other than him - I feel it will be the same story - a few great performances followed by a few heavy losses.

at least they have to start with something good communication with the players first and indeed until now there is still no one who can really be sure to become the coach of MU in the future.
On the other hand, Ten Hag is currently attracting attention because ajax's performance is currently stealing attention not only in the Eredivisie but also at UCL. Their performance was so impressive thanks to the ten hag.
But for Ten Hag I hope the same as you, because it's not necessarily the tactics he runs will be suitable at MU even though the offer is very tempting but I feel it would be better if Ten Hag was in ajax.

Zidane doesn't look like he will be taking over a team like United. I believe that the talks about how Zidane may want to take over PSG and then Pochettino will be freed which could go to United has some merit to it. That way Zidane would be able to manage a team filled with stars which he always stated he wanted a team that has a good roster but underachieves and PSG would be great for him. He is also one of the best champions league managers in the world and PSG wants that cup more than anything else, so it would be perfect fit for them.

Let's see what they will do, I hope that they will do better than expected but Zidane directly to United doesn't really scream chemistry to me, that may not work.

I guess United will have Carrick run the team for a while as they remain hunting for a manager who has a profile worth running a club like Manchester United and can withstand the current pressure that comes with it.

Yup, the hunger games have started. Both Pocchetino and Ten Hag have declared their interest in the position, but it remains to be seen where United will end up at the end of the season.

The contract with the new long-term manager will probably be agreed before the season ends so Poch has to be careful - he can end up signing the deal in a month or 2 and arriving in June with United out of the CL for next year.

Not you see the last update and confirmed by Zidane? he has reject agreement with Manchester United because he faced difficulty with speaking English and his wife not agree stay on Manchester United.
