I think these fail compilations could be created about any player out there no matter how good they are. I recently saw a fail compilation about Ronaldo and to be honest if you only look at that compilation you could think that he is the worst loser in soccer.

But you are not wrong with your analysis that De Gea is making more unforced errors than many of the other goalkeepers. It must feel uncomfortable for the defense to use him as part of the game when they build up their attacks from the defense lines. Passing the ball back to him has gone wrong quite often. De Gea spent 10 long years at the club and in those long 10 years he had some mistakes that people usually highlight most of the time. But his performances for Manchester United have been really sloppy of late which may have forced him to leave the club. A player's form is not always the same. At times, the change of some players becomes very necessary, in which case Manchester United may have changed their goalkeeper. De Gea has not yet been officially released by Manchester United.
