Even with Nathan Ake, Ruben Dias and Manuel Akanji, Manchester City's defense is very difficult to penetrate and with the arrival of Gvardiol I don't know what else to do for other teams looking for ways to beat Manchester City in all competitions next season. But players like Harry Maguire, Cucurella and Fofana are all really bad player's but haven't done anything for them clubs to match them fee's. This is a big transfer. They obviously wanted to spend so that they can make the defense of the team really good. I just hope that he does not flop.

I said that because Harry Maguire, who is the second biggest transfer ever in the history of defensive players, was a big disappointment. At only 21 years old, it is really incredible that he can fall off such money. Expectations are going to be really big from him. As in feet, he is the most expensive defender in the world right now.

It looks like Ousmane Dembele is going to PSG. FC Barcelona are considering replacing him with Bernardo Silva. Silva wanted to leave the team last season as well, and Guardiola said we'll see at the end of the season. If a good offer comes to Manchester City, this transfer can happen.
Dembele was a good player but was crushed by that huge transfer fee in Barcelona. If he had come at a more affordable price, the expectation wouldn't have been so high and it wouldn't have put so much pressure on the player.

What is taking Chelsea so long on this Vlahovic deal? Just get rid of Lukaku already and pay the necessary cash also. It is said that they need to pay £35m also and I don't think this is a big deal for Chelsea at all. Vlahovic's market price is £60m while Lukaku's is £34m. I wonder whether Chelsea were waiting to seal the deal by only paying the difference between their prices.

But I believe this deal is still worth being completed despite the asking price is higher than they expect. I don't see anyone else as a striker target for Chelsea now. They should go for this deal and give Vlahovic a chance from now on.

Because they have given enough chance to Lukaku until now and he has always been a disappointment.

It's hard and I think Juventus value Vlahovic much more than that in order to sell him that easily to Chelsea. Juventus more than 80m for Vlahovic so maybe they are trying to get back that value from the potential sale of Vlahovic. Chelsea do need a new striker but I think Vlahovic isn't worth going for a price above 50m-60m Euro. Well I honestly think they don't need another striker at all as they have Nkunku already but still signing Vlahovic seems like an unnecessary stretch to me.

Right now they don't need a striker. But at the same time they want to get rid of Lukaku as he isn't a part of Pochettino's plans for Chelsea. They had a bad experience with Lukaku in the past so there is no need to keep him any longer. While they have still time for the end of this window they can still send him from the team even if Juventus deal fails.

In case Lukaku leaves the team I think that Chelsea would like to fill his space in the squad. This must be why there is a swap deal on the table between Chelsea and Juventus also.
