It's concerning that t13hydra hasn't been on in over a week now.  I hope everything is ok.

Last time he was going to be away for any period of time, he let us know beforehand.  This is starting to bother me.

it took two weeks for t13hydra to respond to my PM for chip ownership transfer.  He's a busy guy.  I'm much more worried about whats taking Avalon such a long time...

Hello,

Still here, but very damn busy. Waiting for multiple confiramtions from different software devs to have the firmware completed + BKKCoins' firmware. Also waiting for the chips to arrive.
Besides this, boards, family, work, my son... lots of things happening in my life, i don't even have time to install a simple Windows 7 on my desktop computer...

[Edit]: Come to think of it, if i didn't have this time consuming dayjob, i would've started a few more paralell projects besides this. Sorry for not announcing my holiday either..

Regards to all!

t13hydra do you have any exit option? I mean, if by the time the chips arrive (I'm in the second batch), I just want them to be given/thrown away and don't want the device anymore, will you be able to refund at least anything from the board costs? To put it simple, are there any coins/fiat which haven't been spent yet and can be returned before the batch is put into production?

if you're looking to bail badly ... start an auction thread .. there might still be a few buyers around at the right price.

How many are you trying to sell? And how much are you looking for it?

It's going to be complicated because I payed 0.75 BTC per board with discount applied. Later, t13hydra said that he could transfer my chips to another person, but not the board order, so the only possible option for the boards is refund. Therefore I'm not sure what auction rules should I set and how to do escrow on this.

I have 2x16 in the second batch. For now, I would be happy to just get back what I spent (4.252 BTC in total).

While we have send out some chip orders, there is currently ~200k chips stuck in custom right at this moment for about 2 weeks now, this matter is very painful for us and our customers. As majority of the chip orders ( 70% ) totaling ~800k is made between early and mid-may resulting in a tight time frame to work with. We do have more chips coming in via different route next week which will ease this a little bit. (you can take this as chips will resume shipping by end of next week for now.)

T13hydra,

I'm just curious on what we get when we purchase a board ( with chip attachment etc)

Is it a complete package ready to go?

Does it come with heatsink?

Does it come with power adapter? If so what connectors does it come with? If not what connecter does it need, and at what amperage?

Does it come with USB plug. If so, how long?  If not what kinda plug does it need?

Just preparing to have these in hand. I need to buy hubs etc ( I got 16 boards coming)

Thx

Please note that the chips may ship without warning as I've received confirmation from another operator that the sample chips were shipped without any changes in my order page. Damn Avalon!

Hello Steve.
I know you must be very very busy, and i understand you.
I am grateful for all the thing you are doing for us, but i want to ask if you can transfer half of my order to a user i'm selling to.
You can escrow if you want, i'm going to give a tip for your work and be grateful.
Can i tell the user i'm selling to that he can send you the BTCs when he is ready? Then you will trasfer the money to me (i will tell you the exact import when the time comes) and place half of the order (5 PCBs + assembly + chips) to him?

And if you cannot change the shipping address on alfahpc, can i get a refund on pbc+assembl? The user i'm selling to is going to buy you back the pcb anyways.
Thanks again, bye.

Hi there,
Problem is that if i don't have chips i cannot go on with the work. So, somewhat yes, the deliveries are going to be affected. But not to worry, everybody will be served.
