The DEX has always been scheduled for Q1 2018 - which means by March 31st.

So far, NVO has not commented on if this date is still accurate or not.

Personally, I think this is because they don't know.  They may make it, they may not.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I do not think the DEX will come out until March 31 (Q1). Making a DEX takes time.

Maybe until March 31 get off the CEX (Veserus), the Cluster and upgrade the wallet. It would already be a good size.

Is the wallet out yet? If not I would expect some delays on the DEX. Which is fine. I'd rather have a strong DEX late, than some Parity style crap early.

the beta wallet has already left. Waiting for the updates to fix errors, which according to the DEVs will be automatic.

It was posted in slack by DEV:

"Ton Bi also warned that there were some delays regarding the NVO wallet. Apparently, the auto-updater is causing a delay because the developers are waiting on Apple to reply regarding a developer's account so they can install the auto-updater. (Apple has replied and has installed the updater right before I posted this)."

So it looks like it's coming out.

In order to build high, you must first be willing to dig low.
As in laying foundations, from which something much larger develops.

Because counterparty dex is the only way to trade, and because they have not started marketing yet.

This user is wrong and is assuming they used money from the ICO, but there is no proof that they are using any money from NVO, and even if they did use money from NVO they only have to provide a functioning dex and wallet with a plugin system  they can legitimately do whatever they want with the money, stop putting your opinions and false accusations before the facts.

As in provide a multimillion dollar work of art and not some shitty mongrel platform just to cover their arses because that wont work.There needs to be better performance communication wise too.
