Hey guys,

Bought a 1080 and 1070 and no longer access to 1080ti

Lol even though 1080 handles power and speeds/overclock swimmingly- the compute units on 1080ti makes a big difference.

For example -1080 consumes - 149W - running at 1974-1999 mhz - with 925mv - at less than 77 C - Skein DGB - I'm getting 590 mh/s

1080ti was 250w - 1860 mhz- over 900 mh/s

Z-cash I get 1999mhz - 450-470 sol/s  -temps stay lowers

Btw I ran all this on 1080 during exporting a media file in Adobe Premiere (uses mostly CPU but FWIW)

From electricity stand point- this is a huge difference. Just wanted to share my thoughts.

I may get 2 more 1080 since my PC can support 5 cards. So 2 x1070 and 3 x1080 -

Good luck all!
Well Your OC setting is pretty bad. with 75% TDP, +120cc, -502mc 1080ti doing 960mh easily taking 210W MAX (Not counting Zotac Amp Extreme - these takes 230 for full 1GH).

You may be right- I used to have FE but never exceeded 900 mh/s at lower than 90% tdp - I had to keep it at 100% for above 900 mh/ experience.

Please everyone keep in mind- I'm not saying 1080 is a better or worse choice. Just sharing my experience.

For complied version I personally use one that is attached to Sniffdog miner (https://github.com/nemosminer/ccminer-Alexis78/releases/download/ccminer-alexis78/ccminer-alexis78-ms2013-cuda7.5.7z)
for setup - this works for me

The Block Factory.
On of the best, but set manual diff (it's somewhere on site or You can add _diffXXX after Your workername) because otherwise You'll have around 5-10% rejected hashrate.
Just make sure to check on vardiff which diff suits You best! Wink

Well, hashrate on site can take up to 15 mins to show. With payout address, I've used cryptopia/polo/bitrex generated wallets and all was good.
Did You enter your pin?

Workername_diff0.128 or somewhere on site in account settings you can set diff for each worker.

I've wondered for the the algo's that people use the -mem, does it increase the hash rate or just to save power?

With DGB Skein what is a good diff to set for 1080ti?  The .128 that has been just recently posted?

I'm better with 8.192... At gtx 1080ti... But need to check tomorrow again the rejected rate.

Hello.

Is DGB skein most profitable than SIGT for mining on a 1080ti ?

Otherwise, what is the most profitable coin today to mine with this wonderful gpu ? Smiley

I think signatum still most profitable today by using 1080ti, I also double checked again at whattomine.com, it is still first in the list.

On HashRefinery skein and nist5 are still a bit better. Check it yourself.
Whattomine has been discussed on this forum several times.. It's not always right.

DGB is around 220 (top diff ever) to 450/per card.
So still DGB can be most profitable, but it depends on luck factor on pool, time to sell etc.
