I'm just wondering if you have found a dev to help you with the new wallet yet? Did you get in contact with that dev I suggested a few days ago? as he did seem willing to help work on the new wallet as he has helped other coins with wallets like Unify.

Mac Wallet built from master.  The Darksend errors turned out to be due to the string updates, the magic hashing prefix having changed from previous wallets.  This is now reverted but can be put back in with the MN reward update as everyone will have to update their wallets then anyway.

That would depend on what you are going to do with VGS, with owning a masternode you are look at around 4.6 coins per day which is around $4 at the moment. If you stake then it will be different depending on how many coins you have staking. I hope this helps answer your question.

I just downloaded the new wallet and all seems to be working perfectly. I do have a question in regards to this wallet release and that is will this protect from power outages? As I have had a couple of power outages in the last couple of weeks and each time my wallet was corrupted and I had to delete everything except the wallet.dat and re-sync from the start, not that I mind as its only a small chin at the moment but once it gets bigger it could be a pain so I hope this wallet has a fix for power outages.

In no way can a software guarantee that a power failure will not corrupt a chain,

Chain Corruption occurs because the Hard drive head hit at just the wrong moment and corrupts the data,

No Dev can fix that as long as they have to keep the blockchain updated.

Coins like Diamond that claim the software can block corruption cause by a power failure are really clueless.

Fix is Hardware solution only, buy a UPS.

Mac Wallet built from master.  The Darksend errors turned out to be due to the string updates, the magic hashing prefix having changed from previous wallets.  This is now reverted but can be put back in with the MN reward update as everyone will have to update their wallets then anyway.
