I bought some XEL coins via heatwallet a while ago, but as you can't trade with them meanwhile on the heat platform, I would like to transfer them for being more flexible, but unfortunately I don't know how to get the xel's away from heatwallet.

Via slack a guy named oscurito23 messaged me following:

----------------------
I saw you
TRansfer asset
recipient fim2@heatwallet.com
asset XEL
amount amount
Message YOUR WALLET
fim2 is the automatic procesor for XEL of heat
not my acount
ty for trust in my
---------------------

He mentioned that I will get a certain amount of heat's for the xel's after sending to the recipient.

Questions:
1) How to get sure that "recipient fim2@heatwallet.com" is not a fake? Sounds like being the wallet from anyone else..
2) Isn't it possible sending xel coins from heatwallet to f.e. bittrex? I don't want to sell coins yet as i would have to pay taxes

Could not find any help so thanks for all useful answers.

You are a bit boring, we have already explained in the slack, those are the official instructions to withdraw from heat.

Last time sorry for being a pain..

Is there a fixed changing rate xel - heat (f.e. 1 xel = 2 heat) or depends it on current market price (what would be much more fair)?

(if there would be any official statement from heat or Xel it would be nice for investors, I have to belive what you are writting, if ist scam, maybe thousands of dollars are away, thats the reason for asking twice)

It depends on the exchange rate, heat has nothing officially to do with XEL, you should no longer be in heat at this point. But you can keep asking until you lose your money, for not trusting a "legitimate" user of this forum.

It's not fake FUD.  It is an issue I have raised before.  We should be conscious of it rather than dismissing it.

Well, we could decide to rename that thing - maybe just XEL? Or we could write it with a "k" at the end? We could also try to find out if this would be necessary first. It's up to you @community.

i would say the sooner the better. Can somebody manage something like a vote? or any news i missed?

We have so far::

XEL
Elastik
Knievel ( Grin)
(Project)Decom ?

You forgot to mention the most plausible option - not changing anything and keeping the name as it is.
In any case, I think this is not a high priority urgent matter and if desired by the community to be put on vote, can be done at a later time.

I thought about  Wink however i think it´s better we change it as long as the community/ awareness is small. It´s very confusing, especially for new users (e.g elastic is even on github).

Any specific development related reason for the price increase or is it just more people buying and it will likely drop back down in a couple days again?

Either way go XEL!

Well if you check the price chart for last 2 months, you will see that this pump&dump rollercoaster, in 10-15k sat range, happening almost every week.

If and when this is indeed voted on, no important option will be omitted. Staying with the name as is, is indeed an important option to consider and thus will be among the voted possibilities. Possible confusion will fade as we get more traction and put ourselves in the spotlight.

correct, there is literally no information or news, devs have already said they wont talk about the project and will only work on it in their free time, as they have fulltime jobs, more people are welcome to help development to help it move at a little faster pace.

This project needs marketing, what if another coin comes with the same idea as this but with a better user experience and more marketable content. I also support this project but its growing slower that the market.

The project sounds amazing, if they will manage to deliver it of course.
Which was the price of XEL at ICO?

Actually, nobody knows what is the current state of development, so the only thing to do is waiting, or help in the development.
Hopefully coralreefer or EK will come up with an update soon.

That is true, a lot of manipulation and accumulation going on by whales but it is so awesome for day trading. A lot of noobs are going to get burnt by bots before the next update by the devs. 270 BTC buy orders, it was 150 yesterday and I expect it to go back to 150 tomorrow with a slighy drop for more accumulation, so much manipulation.

What's happening though? I've noticed that the trading volume goes up and down a lot, but the day before yesterday it dropped to 210 btc in the morning (morning in europe and volume according to bittrex) and now it's been on 1100-1300 BTC for a few days.
Is this what defines a pump and dump or is it somehow gaining momentum?

I was happily trading this coin for weeks though.
