I'm getting all this jitter when I mine bitbar.
I'm using exactly same settings as mining other coins where I never had this type of issue.

Any ideas?

So does anyone know exactly how quickly difficulty is adjusted, and whether there are any sites that have the predicted next difficulty?

Why did the hashrate drop?

Profitability, if the price is low it doesn't attract miners.

I had wallet out of sync, downloaded new update from bitbar.biz and its synced again.

first the .7z file was new, now just the .zip file got changed, no idea about linux. I don't have the old one to compare.

Why set difficulty at 0 if the purpose of the bitbar is to be very rare and hard to get? Creator couldnt have been so naive  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Let's look at some other coins:

Feathercoin launched with difficulty 0
Terracoin launched with difficulty 1 (just as low as 0 in effect)
Chinacoin launched with difficulty 0
Novacoin launched with difficulty 0

etc

Are you seeing a pattern yet? Please stop trolling
what i see is that is a small group that creates and mine when difficulty is low and earn lot of money... joking with the rest

I don't have a signature because I'm not a customary person.

bitcoin and litecoin launched with diff 0, no?
A small group of people mined a lot of those coin and earn lot of money.  So btc and ltc must be a scam

Hey BTB fans...is there a Paper wallet option for BTB?  It seems this would be the best way to store your BTB, as it would allow for Casascius-like holdings...and even physical bars to be made.

If Casascius ever made a BTB gold bar...the current price would skyrocket...shouldn't we have the framework in place to allow for that?

Please add more BTC here (my son will apprecciate it when he's older): 14WsxbeRcgsSYZyNSRJqEAmB1MKAzHhsCT

Something wrong with bitbar. None of the blocks are being paid for. Coinchoose, dustcoin, Coinwarz AND the official bitbar stats confirm - http://bitbar.info/stats/index.php

Interesting. Notice the slowly and steadily decreasing profitability on the coinchoose chart.

* Bug in some part of the software?
* Attack on the network (doubtful, considering the number of confirmations required)?
* Something else?

My bet is on a bug somewhere in the wallet code, if both the blocks aren't being paid out on, and the coin sites are showing bogus values. I've started my wallet back up and am tailing the debug log now.
