Yes, it gets staked when you find a POS block. But once the confirms are there for the staked block it should move back. In my case I had 3 POS that were orphans and those coins did not move back. Not sure how to fix it.
As always, back up your wallet before trying anything.  My friend told me you can fix this issue sometimes by running repairwallet in the wallet console which you can access in the wallet by clicking Help->Debug Window and click the console tab.  Good luck, let me know if that works.

Edit: Beat by A L I E N by 5 minutes, curse my slow response time!!! :-P

It does NOT have 500 confirms. I was just looking at the check mark and it was green so thought it had enough. I have 4 or 5 POS blocks that only have 125 - 250 confirms so I am sure it will be ok once the confirms are there. I am used to some of the other POS coins and once the green checkmark shows up the stake goes back.

I had tried repairwallet already and could not decide what to try next. Guess waiting is the best idea. Just impatient I guess.  ;-)

Thanks to all for the advice!

It switched because I am in the process of building out a new primary web server and it will go at btb.pnwminer.com. But for right nowI have redirects setup so even if you try to go to btb.pnwminer.com it should redirect you to the correct server.

I haven't heard of any changes however there seems to be bitbar.biz and bitbar.info so perhaps someone is working on it.

The community over at http://reddit.com/r/bitbar is starting to pick up steam and there's some good content being worked on.  Hopefully we can collaborate on some promotional material and perhaps the dev team will incorporate it if they like what they see.

Lets say I'm a complete noob, which I am. I'm having the issues raised previously around the checkpoint being too old. As with others I have downloaded the lasted 4.3 client, but I start to get a bit lost when the next instruction is clear everything out of your data directory. Where do I find the data directory? Once found will the rest of the instructions fall neatly into place or am I too computer illiterate to own Bitbar?

-Data directory is here: C:\Users\******\AppData\Roaming\BitBar folder

-Close the wallet and delete everything but the wallet.dat (wallet.dat contains the keys to your coins)
-Restarting the wallet will re-download the blockchain.

Just a bump to say this method works a treat.

EVERYONE!  We are having a severe winter/ice storm here and the power is dropping in all of the surrounding communities. If the pools at pnwminer.com drop, I will get them back up as soon as my power comes back up. For now, all is working fine, but I thought that I would warn everyone!

Pleased to say http://btb.scrypthp.com BitBar pool has been running for over a month now.  Still need more miners but we've got a steady user base and consistently hit blocks faster than average.

Still the lowest fee Bitbar pool running!

Wasn't able to successfully ddg.com an answer to this, so thought I would check here. I'm new to the community, so be gentle.

Is there a paper wallet app for Bitbar?

So let's say I have a wallet with some bitbars. It is password protected. What do I need to do to earn PoS rewards? Will I get PoS rewards retrospectively?
If I have to unlock my wallet, how can that be done?

I believe there's a command line option to unencrypt it but I'm not sure about that.  The easiest method would be to create a new wallet and send the coins there. Always backup your wallet before doing anything risky!

Still need more BitBar miners at http://btb.scrypthp.com - MPOS on Super Fast, Secure Servers. Lowest 1.5% fee BitBar pool, 100% uptime since launch over a month ago.

Thanks, it worked with that command. It doesn't seem like there was any excess coin generated this way Cheesy But maybe I overlooked something. (I mean PoS blocks were generated correctly, and they are staked, but the cumulative amount hasn't moved - or maybe just a tiny tiny bit)
