Bitbar slipped to number three on the voting page at https://www.livecoin.net/en/voting
We need .6 BTC to get back up to number one on the list.

I don't have anymore bitcoin (less than .1btc) and I'm not going to sell anymore of my bitbars for it.

Donations so far are:
 bitbar address   BDonate5SvjoyrhuGynqpeC9DgqfLQR9aJ      0.01000000
 bitcoin address   17jeqzYLi7Y4QivVA32MKpqWMcRzwEmFmK   0.00000000

If you want bitbar listed on livecoin please vote for it or donate.
The higher volume exchange will expose more people to bitbar and increase bitbar volume and worth.

Hey guys

I really like your efforts to get BTB onto LiveCoin

Just a suggestion

I would make a appeal to

https://poswallet.com

To have them keep BTB on there wallet. BTB is currently going to be delisted as of June 9 2017

It is listed on there now and would cost nothing to have them change their mind. POSW is currently going through a rework of sorts but they are continuing with some more popular/better POS coins and such

I would try and convince them to leave BTB staking with their system. I feel it would be worth a shot to make the appeal to them.
I am not a fan of POSW (actually the concept of it)
It would be better for the network if each person staked using their own wallet because it creates more blocks to help move the chain.

I am not against others contacting POSW so feel free to do so on you're own.

On an average day I get two connections to the network, and haven't been able to update my wallet in weeks. If the dev can't be bothered running a couple of reliable nodes in the cloud then I'm declaring this a dead coin.
Have you bothered to look at the peers list at http://Bitbar.co ?  it is a dedicated node. it has 17 connections
Did you check http://btb.Altcoinwarz.com ? it's the block explorer. Another dedicated node. it has 16 connections.
how about http://Altcoinwarz.com - click on the bitbar logo. it is another dedicated node. it has 17 connections.
Cryptopia shows 6 connections.
My wallet is showing 9 connections.

If you can't be bothered to read some of the thread, or ask questions then I'm declaring you have a dead brain.

OK, I concede that there are live nodes available. Perhaps you'd care to explain why they're not propagating, and why there isn't an 'addnode' command in the Debug -> Console window. Thanks.

addnode= goes in the conf file
bitbar.co on the status page shows 23 connections. there is a button labeled copy to clipboard. click it, then paste into your bitbar.conf
on windows - C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\BitBar
You don't even need a bitbar.conf file if using the qt wallet, the wallet automatically gets connections from a seednode.
(the bitbard wallet requires password and user)

If your wallet is stuck and the block count doesn't match the bock explorer, the best fix is to remove everything in the bitbar folder except the wallet.dat file and restart the wallet. This will download the chain again.

I suggest copying the wallet.dat file and storing it on a thumbdrive.
I have a thumbdrive with a folder called coins. in it are folders for each of my cryptos, and I keep a copy of the wallet.dat file for each crypto I have so if my hard drive crashes, or I want to have the same wallet on a different computer, I can copy the correct wallet.dat file.

Didn't make it this month on Livecoin, maybe next month - we were close (i think - it's not spelled out well)
On the bright side, one more month of cheap bitbars.

I paid the .1 btc on yobit to get listed there, not sure how long that will take.

It will be nice to see bitbar trading for more than 1 btc again.

Slow and steady with the bitbar, the crypto-gold  Grin

I believe the true power and potential of blockchain can also be achieved by approaching crypto as a commodity. It is more understandable.

As someone said in a 2014 topic "there is a small niche in the market that has not been exploited. As more money gets poured into this digital game, there will be those sanctuaries for high priced coins, few people can afford to buy-in and that's what makes them special."

These are untapped and un-exploited markets, eventually we are going to see a huge boom for these small supplied currencies."

We are still in the early days of "crypto-commodity", but i believe UNO and BTB will have first mover advantage.

The growth potential is huge, and many don't realise this yet.

I am not sure what you are accusing me of.
yes I am the dev of Bitbar and http://bitbar.co
yes I am the dev of Litebar and http://Litebar.co
yes I am the dev of Emerald (not the web site)
yes I am the dev of BitcoinFast and http://Bitcoinfast.co
yes I am the dev of LitecoinPlus and http://Litecoinplus.co
yes I am the dev of http://Altcoinwarz.com

yes my email is Spider at Spidersbox.com
yes I am Spidersbox here at bitcointalk
yes I am Spidersbox at cryptocurrencytalk

yes I am Spidersbox at Cryptopia, Polo, nova, c-cex, yo-bit an several other exchanges.
Yes I trade at all of them.

I don't understand what you mean by "I found during the hours of surveillance that you have made auctions artificially"
I don't use bots, not that there is anything wrong with using them.
I place orders on the low side - and sell on the high side.

as for the false-positive virus/trojan reported by your anit-virus, I suggest you do some investigating.

do a web search for:
bitcoin trojan
litcoin trojan

Have you tried a different anit-virus software ?

have you tried https://www.virustotal.com/  and have them check for viruses or trojans ( 1 hit out of 55 )

You do know that almost all wallets have mining software in them right?

Personally, I think you are trying scare people away from bitbar so:
A) the price will crash and you can buy some cheap or
b) you are trying to harm the competition of a coin you like/work for

Please don't invest in bitbar - we don't want your kind around.

I guess we're going through it together. So long 854 Bitbar rest in peace.

Any word on what is going on with litebar? I have 149,000 out of 176,737.

Hmm.Going through a lot of things together by the looks of it.So that makes it 1)litecoinplus 2) Bitcoinfast 3) Bitbar.Do the XBC developers approve of this??I am watching!!

The difficulty is so high, I don't think you will have much luck.
I have two running Zeusminer ThunderX3 at 30 MH each, I don't bother trying to mine bitbar.
I mine easier coins like bitgem, bottlecaps, and bitcoinfast - sell them for bitcoin, then buy bitbars.

You might look into other algo's like x11,x13 or scrypt-jane. There are some coins out there that still support GPU (and CPU) mining.

Once you figure out how much you can hash with your gpu's - check out coinwarz.com or my Altcoinwarz.com
You can put in your hash, and electricity cost and usage, and you will get a sorted list of coins that will show you which is more profitable to mine.
then convert to bitbar of course  Grin
