So, instead of getting raped by GPU farms, we are now getting raped by multi-CPU server farms Huh

No, just the CPUs on GPU farms. Smiley

Does anyone know how I can choose another port for YaCoin? I'm running multiple computers, so I'd like to forward a different port for YaCoin for each computer.

You'd have to change it in the source code and compile.  Or use a SOCKS proxy for each.  Or if you have a firewall or router between them that you can set port forwarding on, you could change it there.

Or put port=1234 just like for rpc port you'd put rcpport=5678

Probably you're getting raped by GPU farms, too.  You don't need to change the kernel from cgminer or reaper all that much to GPU mine this coin right now, and at the current value of N I would wager that most GPUs get 1000+ KH/s.

I believe a lot of it has to do with luck.  My 32 core opteron setup has had 13 orphans 0 blocks, and my i5 670 (dual core /w hyperthreading) has 2 blocks/2 orphans in 3 hours of mining.  Or it could be that the 3.4ghz clock rapes the opterons and that's why Tongue.  Who knows?

What's the target block time? There's a new block every four seconds. At this rate I'll be out of hard disk space in a 12 days.

I'd appreciate a small sum to see if this client is really working.

Thank you to the two people who sent coins to me. If they want to claim them then they can have them back. Is there any way to see the sending address?

got about 22 blocks now with 4 pc's (600 kh/s) orphans about 160 so i am not complaining  Grin strange thing however is that my fastest pc (amd octacore @4,6 ghz found almost no blocks at all (about 3) and my xeons doing a great job. so maybe it's an amd problem?

How many connections does each machine have?

Does the one not getting blocks also have way less connections than the others?

"moneysupply" : 1,545,669

1,553,425.

Market price for this coin should be targeted right around Devcoin.

Still a very long way to go to catch up with FeatherCoin, ChinaCoin and PPCoin.

Yeah, what the hell. We have 15 days worth of blocks if each block is supposed to be 60 seconds.

Just got another block, but it was only 49.57 YAC instead of 54.25 YAC this time. I guess the reward is going down?
