If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it?

It depends on what you want to do. If you want to make fast profit than it is better to sell them and buy some altcoins. If you want to take some long run, than just keep them and get some big profit after an year or two

Obviously yes.We should sell our bitcoin only we need money or else keep your bitcoin is my advice.If we keep bitcoin for long means we will have huge profit one day.Cost of bitcoin is keeps on increasing due to the bitcoin users.Since it's tax-free their is no risk for keep it long.

As stated me too will show interest upon holding bitcoin as much possible rather than selling it for low amount. Though the price is good, knowing that in future it surely pumps what's the need to sell and spend on unwanted stuffs which might give a hi-fi external appearance.

wooh so many bitcoin(2.1btc),how did you get it?you are going to become rich.first of all this amount is very small,there are plenty of users here who hold min 5-15 btc and there are also whales who hold in k amount.and if someone has a lot of bitcoin with them then he/she should spend it economically and live their live freely and enjoyably.

If I had those bitcoin I'll definitely do nothing. As I believed that bitcoin will be better for the upcoming years to come. The price of it will become higher and higher so I wong spent it and will just store it to my own wallet. And when the final day comes, I'll sell it and will buy my own things.

because the price of bitcoin has increase then automatically the value for every satoshi will increase too and that's logic but some people says bitcoin isn't good tool for long term investment because the price was very unpredictable and saving long term also will not guarantee profitable but i have my personal reason that the value of bitcoin will still good at least for next 5 or 10 years so if i have a lot of bitcoin i would save 70% for long term and spend 30% for my daily needs

I agree this is an option, to hold... But if he has trading skills he could try it and increase this BTC amount a bit more. It's not greediness to do it, it's just to be visionary, if you can have more 20% of money, why wouldn't you do it? Gambling I agree it's too risky, but trading may be possible to try, not with the whole money, just a part of it. If I were him I would invest this amount in diverse sites.

If you're going to spend your bitcoins into an investment, make sure that it will be better than the price increase of bitcoin. My friend is actually asking me to invest with him for a long term business in our place but I really think that saving bitcoin and holding it is a much better idea. I've been here for a while now. I've seen the lows and highs of bitcoin's price and I know that the price of bitcoin will go higher than what it is now.

Yeah, that's partly true. But remember if you save every single day and invest that money then you could potentially grow it to a high amount in the future. If you take into account the power of compounding then surely you'll be rich in the future even if you save only cents today. Especially with bitcoins, if you started to buy bitcoins since 2016 just $1 a day then you could have been rich by now.

my plan is very simple i want to hold my bitcoin just for the price increase. i am sure that the price of bitcoin has the capacity to increase more. because people  are continously taking interest in bitcoin and i am sure that the interest of the people will continue increasing for a long time and not going to decrease. therefore the the chances are always there that the bitcoin price will increase too much in next few months therefore its price can increase more.

Obviously the value of bitcoin is higher than the value before when you had that amount so it is expected that the value of your holdings will go higher every time bitcoin's value will grow. I don't see the point of asking about it by the way because even a 10 year old child can understand that.

Like everyone is saying bitcoin is really good investment that has sure profit if you invest in for a time period of year or so. Unless you need that money for something important. I would say keep your money in bitcoin as this way your money will grow unlike fiat which depreciate with time. In your case you had very less initial investment. But profit you made is nearly 250%. If you had some good invest. Think where you could have been. Investing in bitcoin will never prove useless if you show some patience.

people earn money to make their life more comfortable, so if  I have a lot of bitcoin, then I will distribute my bitcoin for different purposes, I will reserved some bitcoin for spending and fulfilling my needs, I will invest some in bitcoin for the price increase, and will also try to  convert some bitcoin in to my fiat currency and then I will like to invest it in my day business also. and I am sure that very soon I will get a lot of bitcoin and all my dreams will comes true.

Who would want to save a digital currency if you don't have any way or will to earn them right? If you will be saving in that number of cents, I would rather work for something that will make me earn bitcoins, that way I can save more. But I think 2.1 is quite an amount for me though, I will be converting it and when a dump comes, I will be buying some again.

Yes if a person do not have any plan for to spend his bitcoins or we can say that if he do not have any need to spend his bitcoins then he do not need to sell his bitcoins and he have to wait for a more longer time having holding his bitcoins because it will give more profit in the future when a more bright time come to front in bitcoin.

You already said why you wont be holding a few bitcoins. If your plan is to sell the coins then you wont be able to accumulate for the future,the best plan would be to start investing in promising projects and make sure that you will wait till you attain a good profit and then think about selling and setting up a good business.
