My cards I test was AIO - reference liquid cooling with hbm2 temp no more than 60 degrees. Memory can work up to 1190mhz without rude crash but hashrate is fake both in xmr and eth
Hash rate is fake where exactly, in miner, pool or both? --ypsi Miner shows good hashrate but shares are rare and pool-side hash is low.

FYI Got back into doing some GPU tinkering, picked up the Saphire Vega 56 pulse...this is a neat little card. I have it at 47 MH stable on eth right now.

One more question - does it have dual bios?

Did you end up switching over to 18.3.4? I'm adding a card to an existing rig and thinking about trying it out tonight. Seems like people are jumping on 18.3.4 and Cast.
I'm still on Stak 2.3 with blockchain drivers. I generally prefer what I can compile.

I still like xmr-stak 2.3. I tried 18.3.4 and reverted back to BC drivers. I did get tad better hashrate but wasn't worth it with the additional fee. The clocks were different and didn't play well with the solid soft_pp reg mod that works with xmr-stak 2.3

Not yet, this rig is rather old and stable and I don't wanna mess with it. I'm thinking about adding some new non-refs to my ryzen-based rig, if I do I'll try new drivers.

So guys our VEGAs are now pretty much shit because they are doing only slightly better than RX 580s which are half the price. How do you guys feel about selling our VEGAs? Good decision or is there something coming up thats worth keeping them for? I know CN ASICs will die but i don't believe they will be profitable for much longer.

Hello, I Have some VEGA Rigs running on BC driver and Windows LSTB 2016. I want to use the new adrenaline drivers. Do I need to stay on windows LSTB or go with 1703 or newer ? Custom bios or stock bios with vega 64 and 56 ? Can I and Do I need to use the same Softpower play file with the new driver ?

Lol what are you smoking? Slightly better? Slightly? Really lol.. My vega FE can hit 2,250H/s on Cryptonight. Yea.. "slightly" better than a 580. Last time I checked 8GB 580s on ebay are still going for 300 USD used. A 580 does half of what a vega hashes. With the new 18.3.4 you can run 12 on a single board @ ~24Kh/s. Go try and do 24kh/s on a single board using 480s/580s and let me know how well it goes.

RX580 can even do 1000+ but at 95w-100w from wall. Still at Efficiency (Hashes/Watt) of 10 vs Vega with efficiency of 12-12.5 + less heat + less space + less components to setup similar hashrate rig. Imo RX570/RX580 were main attractions for ETH mining. However, now the difficulty is so high you need 410-420 MH/s to get 1 ETH in a month. + you would have to buy 2x MB, ram, cpu risers for the RX580/570 combos. + you would need to go around quantity limits when you buy them + the space needed for each rig and the time to flip 24 gpu instead of 12...
That's debatable. You run into higher chances of rig being down with 12 GPUs with a crash or in worst case any component failure on CPU, RAM, MBO your entire rig is down. Most likely it's the Motherboard that fails first. It's good option to spend $300 on additional components and separate out the 12 GPUs in 2 Rigs (at least that's what I would do). Also, 12 x Vega on single rig is bad idea in terms of pulling power from single 15A US socket.
