Paying to get on exchanges is annoying but I feel the dev should bite the bullet and do it. Sell enough onions on nova to get the necessary BTC, even if that crashes the price for some weeks.

No rush. This gives more people the opportunity to buy at a lower point. It's about what the price will be a year from now. At least for me.

I had the signature, followed the rules, and everything. Never had any problems with my post quality too.

Open a ticket in DO forum and the moderators will help you understand why. The moderators respond very fast, but on busy days you may have to wait for a while to get a response.

If you genuinely follow the rules you are in. It is as simple as that.

Here are a few things NOT to do to get accepted to the airdrop:
1. Burst-post
2. Post for the sake of post count
3. Copy other's posts
4. Crib on the forum if you don't get accepted into the airdrop. (It is okay, it happens)
5. Get greedy and try to break a rule or two to get into the airdrop faster.

Don't do the above and follow the rules mentioned in this post and elaborated in DO forum. You will get accepted.

The question here is, why do I need to buy the tokens when I can get it free from Airdrop and the AIrdrop is still active

Well, you can't get it for free. Your profile was created on the 25th. So buying is the best option for someone in your situation. Just like my situation, I don't qualify others.

Also, it's technically free, you still have to put your time and effort when you wear the banner.

Another way to look at it is why buy Bitcoins at 40 cents each when you can just mine it with your CPU?
