I was actually wondering the same thing when I saw this.  Thanks for the explanation, I figured TOR would make that information irretrievable, which I don't know how much of a difference it makes, but feels better using it.

In my area, I am currently experiencing typhoon bringing floods and landslides due to heavy rains. Roads and bridges are damaged and some are inaccessible. Electricity and internet is unstable, always in on and off mode. Nevertheless, it will not affect much when you know it's friday. I just stay in a safe place I think... haha

Oh I wouldn't worry about that. In case the situation where I'm staying becomes impossible and extreme, I will always find a better place. That'is as long, if flooding and landslides won't get me first. But I do not worry at all. hahaha.

You should keep a reserve battery pack, just in case.

I see the current price of deeponion as a great opportunity to buy, of course novaexchange does not have much volume but it is clear that the price is very very low, buy onions that can now !!!!

Yes that is true, this bear-dumping trend has been now lasting for a while and i am afraid it is not over yet.

Its not the price that what worries me, it the buy ask volume that is keep getting lower and lower.

It's surely does not bring confidence among investors.

None of us are wanting to sell anyway so it isn't a problem for me right now. It's only because DO isn't on a lot of exchanges that the volume is so low but in the future after all the airdrops have finished etc than i'm pretty sure DO will be a household name listed everywhere so the future trading volume will be fine.

It is currently down to $0.50!  This is the best price since DeepVault, and a really good opportunity.  People want this, but can't, because it is only on novaexchange.  This is really incredible.  Is it still hard to get on nova?  Forks, gotta love 'em!

hmmm, sadly the price on Novaexchange is still going down. Fortunately we are not looking at the short-term price . Hopefully after 18 November when the X2 hardfork-drama is behind us, all the alts, including DO will recover. Obviously still bullish on the long-term value of DeepOnions!

Hi! There are 2 upcoming forks in the short term. Bitcoin Gold is branching off on 25 October. But I don't see this as a big issue. The big one is the 2X (Segwit2X) fork on the 18th of November.

Bitcoin gold is really just a scam coin airdropped to bitcoin holders, but as a fork and not a snapshot. I don't think it will be worth much. My price prediction is $50-100 01.01.2018.

2X is a hostile take over attempt that hopefully, and most likely will fail. You can already sell your 2x coins on bitfinex. The current price is 0.12551 bitcoin. Hopefully the 2x fork never happens, but if it do I hope it don't cause much problems for bitcoin.

It doesn't look like the Fork is doing something to the ONION'S price, it's stays at the level of it's price close to $1. After fork it could possibly go to $2-3 price again.

It seems to be going down in terms of how much it cost to buy Onions with Bitcoins. Else the price will be much bigger. I can't wait until these forks are over. It's really killing the alt market. It's very stressful.

Yup me too. The upcoming result of this fork isn't even very good with minimal people even supporting it so i don't see why it has pushed the price of BTC so high anyway? BTG looks like an uncompleted mess from what iv'e read about it so far. And the other fork for B2X is still a little way off. I prefer buying up in ALTCOINS while the price is low on them all and waiting for the rebound. But each to there own!

It may take a few weeks or a month to get back in unfortunately. That's whats happening with me. Hoping to get back in for this round, but my hope is fading away...

Even if I dont get back in, I wont sell my onions for at least a few years, Hodl and stake. They will be worth alot in yearst to come

Did you just change your signature? I suggest submitting a ticket through the DO site.  You would be able to get an accurate asnwer there

WOW, where to start. You obviously did not read first post in this thread.
First of all, the thing that can be seen at first glance is that you don't have required signature.
Next thing is that this is your first post in this thread so how can you hope to be part of the airdrops when your contribution is zero.
And looking at your posts at BTCtalk I don't see any quality.

So what can you do if you want to have any chance to join?

You need have much more activity here and on official forum with contributions in any way that you can. And you need to have more quality in your posts in general. Of course you need to carefully read rules in first post and keep an eye out for any changes in them that can happen from time to time.

And last piece of advice: take your time. You will need at least a two weeks to a month of hard work so you can show your progress and be able to apply to the airdrop again.
