got the airdrop, Seems like from judging the amound received, that participants are almost identical to last airdrop.  Whatever happens in round 16, I hope the new rules let ALOT more people in.  I really like this project, but we can't keep giving the coins over and over to the same few hundred people.  We need thousands of particpants so they can DL the wallet and see the new features like deepvault.

Can confirm latest airdrop coins received in good form !  Good job all and dont worry about the price unless you are a day trader or something.  In any case the big money is made by HODLING.  Remember, this is a top 100 coin probably.

The airdrop is temporarily suspended as there are some changes being implemented in the rules for participation in the airdrop. Registrations should be open in some time.

It is unlikely that that newbie ban will be lifted. The suspended registration should give you enough time to raise your rank to Jr Member (which is not that difficult).
You can also join the DO forum and interact with people there. The community there is many a times more lively than here.

That is true. People are stocking up BTC to get their share of BTCGold. After that, they will convert it back to different cryptos. The advantage, that some people would have perceived, is that in this frenzy for free BTCGold coins, the price of other cryptos will fall (like with DO). So they will get back more of their original crypto when they buy them back after 25-Oct. And as the market swings, the prices of other cryptos will rise to balance the demand and BTC will stabilize at a lower price. That ends up as a Win-Win!

Got my coins and I would like to thank Onion team. I must admit that Deepvault feature is cool. I downloaded the new wallet and also saw one of the video explaining the Deepvault functionality. To be honest it looks promising. Once again job well done.

Looking at one of the post, I understand that there are some changes that's being worked upon. Looking forward to hear from your guys.

I slept right through my alarm this morning and woke up 45 minutes late.  I had a meeting at work and didnt want to miss it.  I ran to my computer jiggled the mouse to check on my Onions and felt great for a second when I saw my beautiful Onions.  I then got ready for work in about 10 minutes and ran out the door.  Traffic was kind today and I made it to the office before the weekly meeting!

Well rested... CHECK
Wallet full of Onions... CHECK
Kept my day job another week... CHECK

For that it would need to implement a IPFS client, which is what i wished this coin would do.  No other coins will have a deepsend and could store documents over TOR.  Only way this coins play with the big ones IMHO.

Just think about all the wikileaks documents and other whistle blower trying to expose government secrets...

Now THIS is a great idea! This would REALLY set DeepOnions apart from any other coin/chain out there. Maybe the dev team can put it on the roadmap, I guess this would take a bit of development time to make it happen.

Bitcoin price and bitcoin gold is not related. People are not buying bitcoin to get some free scam coins. There is really no reason to belive that the rally will end anytime soon. The likelyhood of the 2x fork causing major damage is diminishing. I would not be suprised to see prices above 8k before new year.

The DeepOnion price will not go up untill its chance of long term success improves. Listing on a major exchange would help. But in the end it is the work of the developers and the community that gives DeepOnion value. The price might fall to 10 cents and rise to 10 dollars in a few weeks if the fundamentals change.
